question? i5 12400f vs i5 14600k power?? i read about this on a llist and both seems to be fine w 180w is this true?? was thinking about a cpu upgrade?? my rtx3060 probably doesent need a better cpu,but thinking about the future 1part at the time(next would be rtx4070 super) is this mayby stupid doing 1 part a time?? i have only bought prebuilt desktops in stores my whole life so dont know anything+i cant sadly put a pc together(used to work at a garage n some electronics but after damage to my hands not possibel anymoore...Life happened n sometimes it sucks!) so 1 part a time upgrade?? is it even worth it during a 6-12months time?

The 9800x3d will naturally win, costing more than double what the i5 14600k costs. It’s the top gaming cpu for a reason. However, the 14600k has a better price to performance ratio.

Is it worth it getting an i5 12400f and in the future upgrade to a i7 14700k

I currently use 7900X at eco mode due to high temp and power usage. I heard that 9000 in general has solved these issues. My question is, would 9800X3D run faster in applications that are not utilizing 3D cache compared to 7900X assuming that both are using the max power of 88W (65W eco mode)?
