    • @BigGreenJeep
      @BigGreenJeep 5 месяцев назад

      37s. I've seen a lot of people lately trying to say you don't need more than 35s. Not if you want to do trails like this. 40s would have allowed me to make it over the place I got stuck. It was so close. 37s are a sweet spot though where you don't need to worry as much about your axles.

      It's really not that difficult of a trail. You just need to be extra careful because a mistake would be costly! There is one switchback that is tighter than this one. And yes, some are filmed to make it look much more dramatic than it is in real life.

    This was so cool to watch! I am thinking of getting a gladiator rubricon. By this video alone looks like having a lift with bigger all terrain tires along with a winch in the front is the way to go. I really wish jeep would make the seats with lumbar support and seats with more adjustments moving seat forward and back further. Also, I really wish jeep would make their jeeps have better gas mileage specially for those people using their jeeps a lot and off roading deep into places. Great Video! lets see more. What do you think was more difficult Escalator or Hell's Gate?

    • @BigGreenJeep
      @BigGreenJeep Год назад

      Definitely Escalator. It would have been easier with a good spotter. If you hit the right line (and don't forget your lockers like I did) Escalator might not be too bad. If you get off line though it can easily flop or flip you. I didn't think Hell's Gate was bad at all. We got a little tipped but it was easy to correct. Both were a lot of fun!

    Jeeps made after mid 2000s (I think every four-door Jeep Wrangler this is true of) has BLD , or better. BLD (brake locking differentials) isn't 'really' open. It's somewhere between an LSD and a locker. It's beyond old school open for sure and in some cases probably better than LSD. If a mid 2000s or better has an LSD on the rear , it's my understanding that it's using both LSD and BLD technology which is beyond BLD and LSD but less than locker. BLD equipped jeeps will embarrass anything that doesn't have a similar technology. A similar technology would be ATRAC. Nevertheless, it's still tough to do without TRUE lockers. I get it.
