The largest consumer full motion TV mount in the Vogel's range is called the TVM 5855. It sits at the top of the Elite range. It's capable of supporting up to 100" TVs and 75kg... or is it? Let's find out! Second challenge is that we only have a wood stud wall for testing brackets, so we'll be also using the TVA 6950 double stud adapter.

We're reviewing a new full motion model against both the Ezymount VLM6800 and the Vogel's TVM5855. On paper, it takes more weight, supports a wider VESA and costs substantially less... which sounds too good to be true!

The TVM5845 is one of the best brackets that I've reviewed. Having said that, you really need to be an experienced installer as this bracket has long arms, meaning lots of leverage and because it's rated to potentially hang some very big TVs! Question,I just ordered the Vogel bracket for the 100inch do you think it’s a good one?
Wow, 100inch... I think I said max 85 inch in the video for 2 reasons. First, I don't know which 100", but most are borderline on 55kg and many have larger VESAs. Personally, I'd like headroom. Second, you really need to mount and fix it well to the wall. I didn't fix it that tightly to the wall on the first occasion and used only 3 screws. At 55kg, it slipped a little when it was out to the left. You can confirm that your TV is compatible by using the vogels.com mount advisor and second, if you have doubts, maybe myself or someone else knows a good installer that can help.

This should come with the manual. At least I haven’t seen it. Thank you for the video. Definitely useful. Can I now leave it on all the time? Or is there any reason why is it able to turn ON and OFF?
Yeah, I agree. I asked Sangean if they can include this in future manuals and wrote something for them, though a video is easier. And good question. They said that it uses a small amount of power even when not in use, so they left the default as off.
Would some grease help the thread situation Mike?
