Moving to Sheboygan next summer from Madison for work. And tbh a little nerve racking because it’s so much smaller than Madison. But your videos definitely has been helpful! Love seeing all the shops in Sheboygan ❤

This place looks amazing! I live in a bigger city and the only steak we have here are these awful chain places like Texas Roadhouse, where the steaks are pretty awful and they don't give you complimentary anything. Lucky are the people who eat at this restaurant!

Is that in Kentucky if not gotta change the name cuz real bourbon is made in Kentucky. Yes you can make bourbon anywhere but it ain’t real bourbon unless it’s made in the bluegrass state and you can’t name your streets after our accomplishments

And if you don't want to pay hundreds for charters, you can fish off the pier by using a spinnerbait (I've had success with all silver blade and gold + silver blade) for pike and smallmouth. For salmon, use a blue + silver kastmaster spoon (you can fish it like a flutter spoon or simply cast and retrieve). You can also use bread or corn to catch carp. I don't like using live worms since I don't have any success with them and the only thing you're catching with live worms are round gobys. However, you're not going to be catching Salmon in every season, I've had my success in mid to late July. Pike and Smallmouth I haven't figured out yet, they just bite here and there. Heaviest line possible you could use is 12 pound test mono or fluoro, anything above that is probably unnecessary and you may spook fish like Salmon with good eyesight. Always go 12 pound test or lighter (probably eight to four).

IF YOU CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS IN SHEBOYGAN, PLEASE DO NOT DELETE THIS: I have been a resident of Sheboygan since 2011, I am a local student who has spent a lot of my time downtown while living here.. I have lived downtown most of my time in Sheboygan, going to the local cafes and restaurants often.. I used to get lunch nearly every single day at Paradigm, Weather Center, etc.. I want to share about an experience I had in Slo Food.. As I would do often, I went into Slo Food to pick up a few vegetables and browse around for some other stuff, and grab a coffee while I was there.. When suddenly an employee who I had never met before rushed me out basically.. I was just looking around near the olive oil and she peeked around the corner and yelled “can I help you!?” Obviously, I cannot assume anything rude or condescending from this question alone but It seemed aggressive and I did feel rushed but I brushed it off at first.. I had only been looking around near the vegetables, and then the olive oil which added up to about 5 minutes of browsing. I was not lingering, actuallyI just walked in. I told her I was waiting for the line at the cafe to go down, and that’s why I was looking around. That was true, I was going to get some coffee, sit at the little window tables, and then continue shopping.. She yelled again “Theres no line!”As I was walking up to the counter she asked “what did you want?” And I told her a latte, and she told the barista.. at this point I felt rushed but was thinking “ok, maybe her customer service is just over the top.. and she doesn’t know how to let people browse”she walked me up to the counter, stopped there with me, ordered for me, and afterward said “change of perception huh?” She looked at the barista, then back at me and said loudly“You tried to go incognito on us, didn’t you?!” I was shocked at this point, I had never been treated like this as a customer, let alone a REGULAR there or anywhere for that matter, but I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt one last time (which I shouldn’t have done), and that’s when the barista (who I was familiar with), right in front of me, told her “no worries, he’s O.K.” (Regarding the paranoid employee’s suspicions). The lady who was judging me immediately got very quiet and stood there frozen, tapping her nails together as if she knew she made a mistake. I had already suspected I was being judged, but the barista’s reaction and the woman’s sudden silence and obvious fear about the way she was treating me made it crystal clear. She waved her hand in the “whatever”motion like she didn’t have to apologize and walked away. That was when the barista offered me chocolate. This was insulting. Not sure if she was offering it for free to soften the blow, or she was actually trying to sell me something after that bad experience. I didn’t ask because I did not care. Obviously I said no because of the way I was being treated, and I was not going to be appeased by stuffing my face with fudge as if it could make me forget I was being judged so badly. I felt my intelligence was being insulted, and that not only did they assume I was stealing because I was wearing sweatpants but they also thought I was stupid.. The guy who was sitting on the other side of the cafe looked over with anger on his face at the barista (who said I was “O.K.”), aggressively threw his food down onto his plate and walked out. I assume he did this because he understood how they were treating me.. it could also be that he had a similar experience walking in and didn’t realize how bad it was until he saw it happen to me. Maybe he was waiting for them to make it right and when they didn’t he walked out. What I took from this is that they judge customers regularly. This was, in fact, the absolute single worst customer experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. My clothes were not the best because I AM A COLLEGE STUDENT, and I pay for school and necessities out of pocket. I don’t wear brand new clothing every day.. nor do I care to impress anyone with my clothing while I am shopping for groceries. I am someone who spent my early twenties hanging out at all the cafes in town.. shopping at the co-op.. etc.. not only did they disrespect a regular to many of the cafes and restaurants in the area, but someone in their own neighborhood, who knows Sheboygan well. I haven’t set foot in Slo Food since and I will never go there again. To everyone reading this.. go to NATURE’S BEST MARKET if you’re looking for natural foods. They have a cafe too if you’re looking for coffee and a much bigger, and better menu. They also respect their customers.
