Reviewing the weird broad taste in games I play with a focus on affordability to try and convert non-gamers:
Every second Thursday at 3PM GMT
Sale price (On Steam usually during a summer sale)
My game time and price per hour
Size on the hard drive
Does it work on a 10+ year old standard desktop I've named "The Warhorse"
Stereotypically kid friendly or potentially offensive?
The games are, as mentioned, weird. Newish, old, AAA, indie, popular, sometimes less than 100 reviews on Steam.
Most genres.
A lot of stuff that a lot of people will never play but maybe find interesting to watch. Kind of serious with some gags... some claim I have a lovely voice so maybe I can be an ASMR sleep aid that's easier to explain.
I include snippets of music and games that may have copyright issues

By PopCap you mean the company? Why do you hate it
Hahah I mean the game seems to have no population cap... It probably does but I have never made so many units that the game said no, please stop. That's how many units can be on the screen at one time and why there can be severe frame rate drop during massive fights. I actually have little experience with PopCap but I did like Peggle. Why are you reviewing it now? Also why are you reviewing it from the era of the 1980s?
I actually always wanted to create content of some kind but I wasn't going to chase the dragon of reviewing new expensive games (Thus the channel name) and so I review what I play anyway and hope it sticks (Otherwise it would literally be a job I don't get paid for... and usually I don't do something this high profile and show people some weird lesser known games) and plus Civ 7 is almost out and it's an ideal time for us cheapskates to consider it... as for the 1980s I didn't think I was that old fashioned 😂 but thank you for the feedback and thanks for watching!

I just hated districts. I do think maybe there should be a wonder cap. And there should be some stuff you need to build outside of cities, such as certain wonders. I do think Civ 7 is a move in the right direction on this.

If you think you can't build all the wonders on an occ in civ 6, you have a skill issue. Tbh civ 6 has a high learning curve but once you get over it, you can't go back to civ 5 because you can actually play games differently than on civ 5
I apologize I contextualized it in this way because when I had one city in Civ 5 I wasn't going for a one city challenge. My obsessive focus on wanting to build wonders first instead of expanding just naturally lead to that on one of my earliest games so it feels a bit more natural to me (I try and expand more since that game because it was boring), but in the longform video I also add "you'll survive but I doubt you'll win" because I assumed even a science victory would be untenable (At least from the perspective of a fairly casual player like myself) but I concede there are players that would be able to swing a one city challenge (All wonders seems like quite the feat... didn't know that was possible) but maybe the point I'm making is still valid because that's something you attempt exactly for more challenge (I focused more on how it made me play as someone who only played two full campaigns) but I apologize if I am wrong or was misleading! Civ 6 has terrible ai that can't even figure out it's own district placements. Civ 5 maybe more streamlined but the ai actually knows what it's doing for the most part unlike civ 6.
@@ThrashCommand I tend not to notice the nuances of the AI but I did notice that they weren't the most substantial threat during my games... Thanks for watching!

Weird, can you use the compatibility settings to use proton to launch it?
I didn't try proton but compatibility on its own didn't work... or it did and that was the reason it accidentally started working the next day
