Must have watched it 50 times. Went out April 2022 with good legs on the day and hit 44:06 precisely for the climb. Exactly the same length as your video.

I so want to try this but am scared of the unknown i.e. will I make it? Tell me, at which points were you in your granniest of granny gears? I fear hitting that gear at the start and having nowhere to go after that.

A real tough climb and one I know well, general rule is if you are in your bottom gear by the cattle grid you won't get up it. Enjoyed this, thanks for posting...

Yeah they are great - strong braking and you can adjust the lever pull for either a hard lever feel or softer / more lever travel feel to suit your preference - Defo rate them - only slight downside is they float over the wheel and centre using a screw adjustment centrering can be a little tricky

Do you know if the Bontrager brakes will work with the sram etap shifters? They look very neat and out of the wind, plus im transferring an etap group to this bike but the Red brakes won't work on direct mount. Thanks

For the fitting of the rear Bontrager Direct Mount brake, what happens if you add more spacers behind the mounting bolt? Will that fit better with the cable barrel? Or is the mounting bolt too short?

Nice bike mate U should have bought with the proper dt Swiss wheels and metropn bars instead off ur silly wee uupgrades trying to make it look better on a frame. Hi, sorry to be a pain again, but could you tell me how many spacers under the stem they are supplied with? I think it's 30mm, but getting an answer out of Orbea is near impossible. Thanks.

Sure - in it's original Shimano 105 build it was around 9.5kg so not too light but more than makes up for it in aero benefits - have it at 8.5kg now with Dura ace components - the original saddle for example was 330g - my new one 180g

When you came out to start bridging across your heart rate was already at 180. It looks as if you were only 25 yards from getting on the back of them though, but you heart rate had gone up to 183 = in the red!

What app or hardware are you using for the heads up display for the video ??? Love it..
