Ik im necro posting but that Yugos is def underpowered and wasn't well maintnance wise if it couldn't go fast at all i'd sugest getting a properly inspected model next time if there is a nxt time.

I have always admired the Yugo. It is one of those cars that is overly hated for not really any good reason. They did what they were designed to do well if taken care of. The issue is that most people (especially Americans) didn't take care of them. I would absolutely buy one and love to find one in good shape.
