im in the sub 200k market. ive seen quite a few colonial homes that look good, but when looking at price vs renting the cost of home seems to be absorbent. as a single retiree i can airbnb something amazing for 1200mo or less. thoughts?

Funny.....she mentioned Nicaragua being more authentic compared to Costa Rica. Authentic?! They're completely guilty of contributing to the gentrification of that area. It's an insular and very inauthentic way of living. No respect at all for what they're doing. I would venture to say that their Spanish is rudimentary at best and that they know very few local Nicaraguans. Sorry to be a Davey Downer, but this gringoization of Central America and Mexico is detrimental to the well being of the local communities.
