Is that beaver dam the only real obstacle you had to get by in order to make it to the lean-to
Yes just the one beaver dam - other than finding the actual flow path at the lake - it’s quite a maze.
@@Bootlace_Anyplace thank you.
Nice video, thanks. It's ok to have no music.
Thanks, Glad you liked it!
used to be a bunk, stove, German Luger carved on a piece of wood on the ceiling and a log book. Found the cave back in the 70s.
Not really a cave, but a stonewalled hut with a timber and tarpaper roof. There's even a fireplace! Would like to know the history of this. The notice on the wall indicates it was built in 1906. Maybe built by a hermit or some hunters?
Was this trip recent? I see the video uploaded March 17. Heading up in a week for 4 days. It'll be our first trip there.
Trip way end of July 2023. That was my first time also. Check with Info.R5@dec.ny.gov when the Gulf Brook Road opens.
Love Boreas. I get there 1nce a year
Thanks for watching - it was my first time and definitely won’t be my last.
I just subscribed, can't wait to check out your content. I'm from Massachusetts love the northeast. Is this video in upstate NY? that second site was stunning.❤ PEACE
Thanks so much for subscribing and watching. Yes, Pharaoh Lakes in just north of Lake George in upstate NY. Top of Pharaoh Mountain was so cool - 360 views.
@@Bootlace_Anyplace I was watching you video thats got to be NY. All beautiful we will talk later, have fun.
Never seen anybody eat coffe with a spoon before.. lol😂
ha ha - ya I know - powdered cream didn't dissolve
o what is the fing point u have noone there and u just sit in a cabin and keep a fire going what is the POINT PLEASE OMG WHY
What is the point to come home from work and sit there until you go back to work.?? What is the point Decompression
There are so many reasons why, mostly cus its fing fun as frack (and you need a fire to stay warm at 8F)
Looks like a great trip. You've got a few minutes of blank video in the middle there, around the 23 minute mark.
OMG! Thanks so much for letting me know.
Please take this down or at least edit the part around 8:30 where you give entirely too much information as to proper routes.... from a guy that's been going there for over a decade, please keep this a secret and make only the determined find it. Way too much info and video clues on here. Read the paper that you posted and please follow your own advice.
I took great care in making this video not to reveal the location. For those who know the mountain the location would be more apparent than those you are less familiar. Its all relative as to your knowledge.
Great video. I now have an idea on where pimpeli cave is. I'll find it this year, lol
Thanks for watching - I hope you do find it.
As a frequent climber of Monadnock... thank you for not sharing exact directions of how to access Pumpelly's Cave :)
I tried …. Thanks for watching.
Nice job! Enjoyed the video.
Thanks so much for watching and commenting. I am new to vlogging so really appreciate the feedback.
Great video, great hike!
Thanks! 👍
Do you have to make reservations to tent camp here?
You can’t make reservations in the Adirondack wilderness just at State Parks. Most sites have several tent sites, the lean-to can fill up on weekends.
Awesome video, love the cuts and transitions, keep the content coming!
Thanks for watching and commenting.
