Please would you help me with the issue below: My SHS-5230 keypad will NOT turn on anymore when I touch it with my fingers... however the fingerprint reader is OK and when I press the ' register ' button from inside the keypad turns on and works just fine. Looks like the keypad has lost its ' touch screen ' capability/standby sensor is not working thus the keypad won't turn on when I touch the keypad with my fingers... How to fix this problem?? Any idea?

my concern is the batteries. intruders could just take them and I could either be locked in or locked out in case there are no spare batteries around.
