i tried it in town but on top of my house 2 floors to another house , on top of it of course (same thing 2 floors) and i managed to have a clear conversation with a little noise in the background . Distance 2.5 km . and in this city we have mainly Villas , we dont have tall buildings

Your tests would be more persuasive if you spoke directly into the microphone on the radio. Sorry but those radios are not designed for response at that distance. The sizzle you get overwhelms the transmission.

Get you the Abbree 771, it´s cheaper than a double Hamburger at McDonalds and ist perfectly trimmed for the 70cm and 2m bands. Especially good on about 450 MHz, so perfect for the PMR frequencies :) Some stock Beofung antennas reflect more than 70% from your output watts back to your handheld and may damage your radio with heat if you transmit too long. If it should be a bit better quality, get the Retevis RH 771 for about 4$. But in terms of usability they are the same. The Retevis one weights a bit more and the antenna it self is a bit thicker. But both are especially good and will double your range in many cases. Also remember that about 95% of all antennas on amazon aren´t working as advertised because they are fake or at least very bad build. Just a few models are realy usable. From 20 different foldable antennas from amazon, only 2 worked as advertised on the 2m and 70cm band. Every Nagoya from amazon was bad. Only the Radioddity and Retevis antennas from amazon worked all the time. It seems there are no radioddity and Retevis fake antennas out there and the Abbree 771 doesn´t get counterfeit because the original is extreme cheap.

This is soo weird... I bought a long time ago a solar panel (for soldering) from Amazon which was rated 2W... it was a a small panel ofc... one day I could not be bothered so I soldered an USB female to it's output and put an USB fan on the thing... it was blasting, just awesome and worked like a treat... much sun, much blowing of air around... Loved it... Was amazed what 2W fan could do (could charge phones as well ofc.. 450 mA or about).... one day I bought a 11w foldable solar panel just like yours from Amazon thinking it has 2 USB outputs... man this can charge my phone 2A and put 500 mA to a USB fan no problems... but the fan could hardly start, and the phone was charging less then what it used in sleepstate.. so what was the problem? this 11w foldable solar panel had like 5 times the size of my 2w old chinese panel... but was not even half as good... Turns out my first panel was "bare" it had no "fabric/plastic/what ever" as a "cover". And it seems like it takes like 70% efficiency away... Best guess.. .the "product" manufacturers buys panels (which already has an uprate figure on them) and puts them in a product which degrades them so much it's incredible but nobody is really lying... the product contains panels that actually (in my case) can do 11W but with the product encased in this plastic it just manages 1,5-2w in best case... which is sad...

The result is hardly surprising as the Baofeng tx is 8 times the power assuming the Motorola is pmr446. For the legal power the Motorola sets actualy perform really well. Thanks for the video, interesting to watch.

Horrible speakers no bass and real lean midrange. 23fe has better sound.
