Created on my General Music WK6 layer by layer from scratch, from the beat to bass, guitars and strings, pianos all 8 tracks everyones favorite songs from 80's top 10 charts worldwide, In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins. This song was in all charts worldwide and remained in top spots for months and it is still considered one of the best tracks of all times and is my personal favorite. I used MOOG ONE for the solo part, and detuned the string like Lead sound to be off tone a little or a little distorted. I also used my Roland TR-8S for the beats, a Novation vocoder for the vocal loop, Korg prologue for the strings and Prophet 12, and Nord Lead A1 so I truly I hope you enjoy it. Thank you f...

Thank you much This was the first time I was using the MPC and really the first video I made so the sound did not come out well otherwise it would sound so much better. I did program the beat in the MPC and used midi for clock. I’m going to remake the song sometime next week since my home studio is now ready and this time I’m going to make sure the sound is crisp clear.

The drums are too complicated, and get rid of that dumb vocal sample. Not convinced it’s in the correct key either 🤔
When you improvise or do your own version of the song, you don’t need to be from the same key or use the same exact drums all though I used the same exact drum machine they used for this song. That’s why it’s your own improv of the song. If I have to do the exact same, the listener will just listen to the original song, why listen to any keyboard cover but thanks for the feedback. Oh and I arranged it like a it’s a live concert type of cover, hence the dumb vocal sample.
