What trail is this? Fairly new to Forest Hill, and I don't recall ever this trail.
That was my first time there. We staged at Parker Flats and took Trail 1 from there. I believe we did all green trails (1-7)
Just picked up a 300r and it's a blast!

Nice place to ride! I had a similar place years ago but then people started buying pieces of land where the trail passed and they blocked it all up.

Best kind of bikes to have everybody buys 300 KTMs and Husqvarna and most of them do the putz lot more fun on those bikes I've had every dirt bike I've had all the Big two strokes KTM Husqvarna beta sherco and now I'm down to the klx300r fun bike😊
I was just wondering the other day if I should look into something lighter. For the riding I do it’s working so far just heavy.
Standing up on the pegs with slightly bent knees and leaning towards the handlbars will prevent those type of falls.

Currently debating between the KLXr and the CRF250f. Any differences you can speak on other than the obvious weight, power, and price? I like the idea of Honda reliability, but is the power increase, suspension, and liquid cooling worth the $1k more?
Can’t really speak on the 250f. I was debating on the two myself. Looked up comparison videos to help me out. As far as reliability I’ve had no problems with mine so far.
I have ridden both bikes on trails.....they are very similar. The torque on the KLX is 20 that’s the same as the Honda. The KLX has more horsepower 33 compared to 23 in the Honda BUT more horsepower on a trail doesn’t make you faster, skill does. The KLX is heavier and has a higher seat height. Both are great trail bikes that could climb a tree.....Stock the KLX has the edge with a better suspension, the Honda with an upgraded suspension is a bit more nimble and the lighter weight and lower seat height is nice. Stock the KLX is a plug and play bike with no upgrades needed other than comfort add ones and lever guards. Honda has Honda reliability, less maintenance and $1000.00 cheaper. You can go wrong with either bike.
Went in a completely different direction, ended up with a CRF250RX, picked it up this week. Haven't taken it out yet tho

I like it. Hasn’t let me down yet. From what I understand it’s a heavy bike but it’s my first dirt bike so I don’t know any better. Overall I’m happy with it.

I like a louder exhaust than stock. I actually sold the Q4 and bought a ProCircuit. Smaller then the Q4 and louder. Thanks for watching

I was considering the 250f but after comparing the 2 I believe you’re getting more bang for your buck with a KLX300R. There’s good videos on RUclips comparing the two.
I used to ride like I had air breaks whenever I got in ruts or uneven ground 🤣

Rode RM 250 most of my life..what I've learned is if your just learning to ride never do what your buddies do...you'll get hurt and tear up your machine..trust me I used to be just like you and everyone else was too..ride it on fields or gravel roads so you get used to it..it takes time to be able to balance the machine and know when to shift and use the throttle..just be careful riding in places like that..that's a great bike you have it'll do whatever you want in time.
Nice riding area, nice video, great bike! Picked up my 2020 KLX300R exactly 2 years ago, its a great bike for me. Torquey engine for a 300, but it can rev out too.

What clutch lever is that? It looks great, I’m having trouble finding any aftermarket parts for the dang KLX.
ASV Levers I really like them. Only downside is it doesn’t have the slot for the clutch safety switch. Thanks for watching.

@@JAIME101329 awesome man! I’ll probably try to bypass the switch and get those levers. I’m out in Austin Texas watching your videos! Keep posting content there’s not enough KLX videos or info out there.
@@justinscott5921 I just zip tied the switch out of the way. You would just have to make sure clutch is in or bike is in neutral. If you completely remove switch you will only be able to start the bike if it’s in neutral.

great chasing !!!! glad you guys started chasing the sun you will fricking love it more and more and you get to go play !!! trust me . one thing i seen on the hill or any where you chase . (the camera angle was a bit on the tuff side but always cover the front brake when messing with the scooter. and in that situation this might of not been the best but try to stand with your but to the seat side and pick up the bike like that with bigger bikes like gold wings it will help some. hope you guys are out doing some chasing today. #livetoride and you must go slow to go fassst !!! ;-)
