How to limit time per day with Opennds.
It is normally done using time based quotas in RADIUS, but OpenNDS does not support RADIUS. For OpenNDS you can check out their timeouts and quotas: opennds.readthedocs.io/en/stable/config.html#set-volume-quotas

Yes, you can get it through RADIUS accounting (check out our other video about Mikrotik and RADIUS)
I tried a few times and the error I get is: Not Found The requested URL was not found on this server. Could you give me a path to this error? Could it be the .env, which is not configured correctly?

Probably it won't work on Omada cloud as the portal needs direct access to the controller which won't be there in Omada cloud

Hello! I did as you described. Using VPS is best. I haven't tried it on shared hosting.

In 2 steps. First use a GET networksSummary request. Take the JSON body from that and send it in a PUT request with the updated SSID.

the base code provide register and grant access, only add the code about payment for grant access

@@splashnetworksco would love if you could explain this a little bit more for me. My understanding of Radius is that it uses a user id and password. So does the portal get a user id from the radius server?
@@arrowtlg2646 you can send a dummy username password and configure your RADIUS to accept all credentials. You don't need to ask your user to enter credentials.

On top of that, what if I want the server to run locally? With guest network enabled, do you know how I could let the clients communicate with the server?

Most welcome. I haven't tested that, I've only worked with APs. But if it can be done via the web portal then it should be possible via API as well.

Hello! In your example, a user provides first name, last name and email on the web portal. But RADIUS service requires username & password. When are they created in your example? And how does Mikrotik get them to insert in its RADIUS request?
Please check out the code in the provided repo: in connect.php the username and password are populated and submitted.

You need to setup a RADIUS server. You can setup FreeRADIUS on the same server which has the captive portal.

The UI is changed. For captive portal you should switch to old UI.
@@splashnetworksco Okay, I see. In this new version (v 7.4.162 (Windows) test), even changing to the old interface, we don't have the Guest Control tab, I didn't find it. But I was able to download a version (7.3.83) that is working. I was able to get it to work on windows 11. I still have some connection errors, but I think it must be because I couldn't install ssl, so when I try with IOS system, it doesn't work properly the redirect. Or it's due to not having a UniFi Security Gateway, which prevents me from releasing routes/ports.
@@andredesouzayes but they have security risks xss and stuff , i think Unifi is trying to Remove the Captive Portals they old unifi controller have vulnerabilities, the new version has captive portal but only with external captive portal, the internal captive portal with custom changes is not available anymore, i just have made my unifi controller public i puted ssl too (this was very hard to do ) in the controller because when clients were trying to connect to wifi it was showing no certificates and some security warnings, i have old version of unifi controller and just counting the days until i get hacked😅

No, the router doesn't come with those files. Those files are setup in a web server on the cloud. I'm planning to create a video detailing the process of setting up that web server.

How can I create a voucher and authorize it in PHP as it is done in the internal portal of Unifi?
I haven't done vouchers in an external portal so not sure about that.
