If I look at the orange shorthairs face too long it kind of gives me nightmare vibes 😂😂😂😂 I love the siamese shorthair and the Pomeranian! They are so cute

This is the best pet wise of the new sets. I can also use the tub for my baby MLPs as well. My only complaint is that I really don't want another Pomeranian. I can always pur a bow on the neck of the siamese and dachshund to cover up the neck pegs.

I love all the G7 pets but I agree the main 5s could have waited. Since those are a lot of people’s favorites. Even when I was a kid I never gravitated towards the cats/dogs. So as an adult I’m patiently waiting for basic fun to bring back all the “weird” pets. Like the spiders, snakes, dragonflies and crocodiles oh and the frogs 😭🫶🏼

i honestly love this new generation as i was never able to afford the og generation during the 2010s (and now i have grown up money to do so). only problem i have is honestly the colors. as much as i understand its a toy brand for kids they just seem so oversaturated. i personally find more muted and realistic colors a lot more pleasing but it could just be me. either way its so fun to see this brand actually listening to constructive criticism and im so excited for further releases!

I'm very curious to see the dachshund in person so I can compare it to 139 (the dachshund the new design is based on), since the 139 I happen to have actually has a bit of a funky neck peg as well ^^; just a head tilt issue I haven't been bothered to fix yet LMAO. Hopefully though I can find one in stores with a head that doesn't look as... detached? We'll see lol

I'll admit some of the main five need some work mainly the short hairs, dachshund and the collie's face but if I could give a major note, Basic Fun probably felt pressured to bringing these pets out with collectors constantly begging for the main five to return when I clearly warned that it was best to give them time cause if you rush things it won't turn out like you hoped for. That's probably why the dachshund and short hairs have that neck problem and why the collie's face is weird. I'm not in any rush for the main five pets cause I rather give the other pets more time to shine especially since my favorite cat molds are the walking cat, crouching cat and lucky cat and my favorite dog mold is the king Charles spaniel, the corgi and now that I have them in my collection the Pomeranian and Labradoodle / Goldendoodle dogs. I am looking forward to getting my first collie new in package for a fair price instead of second hand for like 50 bucks on eBay but I rather give Basic Fun time to make them look like the old ones. That Pomeranian in this package pretty much speaks to me she is adorable

Oh nooo the difference between the shorthair moulds makes me so sad, I can’t believe how much uglier the new one is! 😢 Brooke looks so cute and sweet, but the new one, like you said, looks so lifeless and scary hahaha. I really hope you and the other ambassadors can let BasicFun know (if you even can) that we’re very disappointed with the new shorthair mould, and to PLEASE push the head pegs in further for the other Main 5s too so there’s no more floating heads! Love you, Cobalt ❤❤❤

My guess is that the old molds of the main fives were either destroyed, hasbro did not release the files to them for some reason, or they are lost, so basic fun had to try to replicate the molds from scratch. Hoping in the future they fix the sculpt, but since the bottoms of the molds say 2024, I assume these molds are not the original molds.
