    Ok a final comment on the replacement I did on my 2019. So first thank you for doing this. Some of those clips I would have never guessed were there. I ran into one last challenge doing this. The wiring clip in the oil pressure sensor actually broke. It was a bit of a surprise as it came off normally. The little tap you click up to unlock worked normal but after getting the connection off it was kind of lose so I grabbed it not wanting it to end up in engine. What I didn't notice till putting it back together was a small piece of plastic broke inside and the clip would no longer click onto the sensor. Jeep had a replacement connector on the shelf. They recommended cutting and soldering the new one in. But I went the repin direction. There is no room to work in that location. We'll that did it. The new connector clipped in and the putting back together went as it did for you. Just started it and up to temperature, no issues so far. This is quite the job stick with it go slow. You could have probably mounted like the 98-02 f-body's. Right where it used to sit. That was a $150 dollar relocate bracket for running a front mount turbo. The a/c compressor on f-body's is mounted down low passenger side hugging the block. Used a separate belt off main pulley. Some swaps you gotta either trim the the frame or mount it high above the passenger valve cover

      I saw the original location bracket for sale,but it looked like it would sit the alt to low and would not clear the fender well. It did hurt a little cutting that bracket because it did look expensive. I’ve been looking at the high mount ac brackets for the passenger side to run off the main serpentine belt, but still working out all the details on that. The ac original location definitely won’t have clearance on this tightly fitted beast.!.!

      I just did a little digging on that oil system. I like that idea and will most likely get one on order and installed. I have never liked the sound of this jeep starting, such a hard dry starting sound.

    Exceptional video. I’m about to do the same install on my 2019 Wrangler and could not find an instructional video for the JL. I was a bit overwhelmed until I watched your video. Thank you for taking the time to share it.

    Apparently the stock joints can’t even tolerate the stress of stock tires. My 2021 Gladiator gets it at 65mph and the dealer will only replace the damper which is only a band-aid.

    • @SturkieHands
      @SturkieHands 8 месяцев назад

      That’s no good at all. I’ve read the stock ball joints have a plastic bushing in side and that is not going to stand up to any type of stress at all. Are you thinking of upgrading yours?

      @@SturkieHands Did it fix your wobble? I’m not happy with the way Jeep handles this issue. Any other company would fix it. So, yes if I decide to keep this truck I’ll probably upgrade the ball joints and the drag link, because I want a permanent fix.

    • @SturkieHands
      @SturkieHands 8 месяцев назад

      Yes this was the fix. No more wobble wobble and the steering does not wonder like before, Much tighter. Hope you get your fixed soon, I know how scary and frustrating this issue is and can be.

    finally found a video for the oil filter housing with a new style wrangler. I need to do this job soon as well with spark plugs since im in there. How long did it take you to do this job?

    • @SturkieHands
      @SturkieHands 9 месяцев назад

      Hope it helps you out. Yes, it would be a great time to change the spark plugs too. With videoing and all about six hours. if I weren’t videoing it probably would have been around four hours.

      @@SturkieHands Good job. Just picked up a used 2021 Gladiator with only 10k miles on it and am thinking about doing this early on. I have been reading about the Pentastar cam ticking and not sure what's normal. My engine sounds like yours, but perhaps not as loud even. Do you feel you have the ticking timebomb going on or is this just your normal valve train noise?

    • @SturkieHands
      @SturkieHands 7 месяцев назад

      @@Bizill75 I think it is just the normal valve train noise, I hope so anyways!!! Yea, it would not be a bad idea to get it knocked out before it fails.
