Wow, thank god I don't live in Canada. I doubt either of you will respond but in the chance you do. As divorce lawyers this is the type of mindset men face, even those "defending" men miss the larger issue and the causes. Family Court Law needs a huge reform to remove all the bs bias. As a father, child and likely to be grandfather who have dealt with the horrible family court system in two US states. I know the issue far better than those being paid.

Keep telling your self that. The courts are a system that never gets the full view. Lawyers give a tiny description of what's important. Usually it concerns women being the mother. If the couple just wants to separate peacefully often lawyers will push people to says there was negative thing happening just so it looks more favorably on the mother. All you have to do is look at the statistics of who gets the kids and how cases unfold. This feels all well and good to hear, it isn't reflected in the statistics.
