Little 305 burnout

Back when my Camaro had the 305 in it. it was basically a stock 305 from an 86 Camaro the only thing I did was put a little bit bigger of a cam in it. It burned rubber pretty good. Now I've got a small journal 327 I wouldn't trade that for anything.

hello everyone here I have a video on how to remove a choke housing from a Rochester Quadrajet the supplies to hot air chokes and electric chokes. in this video I show how to remove the choke housing without detaching the lever from the fast idle cam that goes to the choke linkage.
1980 Camaro with 1965 small journal 327

This is my 1980 Camaro. It has a 1965 small journal 327 with the 461 heads, with 2.02/1.64 valves. The motor came out of a Corvette. The cam is a Comp cam Hydraulic Flat Tappet, Advertised Duration 270/270, Lift .470/.470. I have the original L-79 cam I'm thinking of putting in it next year. I wanted to try this Comp cam first. Yeah we recorded the whole thing and one shot. We just improvise the whole thing
You forgot to measure the float level
Yeah you're right I should have added that in there. I can always make a separate video on how to do that and also other adjustments that should be checked as well.

@@Madcap_Carburation86 I have the same carburetor if the float is stuck does that mean I have to rebuild it or get it rebuilt It’s gas Squirting everywhere
Great video boss man. I bought a rebuild kit from quadrajet power and will be using your steps. Very comprehensive and no B.S. It's refreshing to watch. I was intimidated at taking on this project before, I'm not so scared now, lol. thanks Pal.. The way I look at it? I had my 9mm beretta completely in pieces for a thorough cleaning, and i got it back together shooting better than ever. If I can do that? this shouldn't be too bad.

It's a chevy 77 350 HD quadrajet
Hello how difficult is it to do stage 2 or 3 cause I have a 77 350 HD quadrajet that I would like to use on my olds 461 with big cam thanks
Are you talking about modifying the Quadrajet? It's not difficult to do you pretty much just need a set of micro drill bits, a couple different sets of primary Jets and rods, and then also secondary rods. Also main air bleeds. I would recommend using the cliff ruggles Quadrajet book he's got some good tips in there on Quadrajet modifications that I use.

@@Madcap_Carburation86 if the float Is stuck open Do I have to rebuild a whole carburetor It’s a four barrel Quadra jet Call me Ryder
@@cadillac9142 it might need a rebuild but it might not. You can unstuck the float by taking the air horn off and checking the needle and seat. A lot of times the needle can get stuck open. But from past experience if the needle is getting stuck open a lot of times it's because there's gunk in the carburetor. I would say depending on how the inside of the carburetor looks that will determine if you need to rebuild it or not. Or maybe it just needs a good cleaning
Does that rebuild apply to other model quadrajets...the same process and steps?
So some stuff would apply to other quadrajets but there's many different variations of the Quadrajet. This video applies to a 1970 Chevrolet Quadrajet.
Rochester Quadrajets get a bad name, but I personally think they're great carbs...I have several in my garage that I've collected through the years and will be rebuilding them as soon as I feel comfortable that I can...
What happens when you pull that piece out ?
There is a lever inside that it attaches too. If you pull it out it just comes unattached from the lever.
