Kamikaze will almost always work if your plane has bombs jfyi
least AI looking thumbnail but we can ignore that… You had Japanese bloody in you to hit that BTR after death, Kamikaze works just very difficult.

No, it works against open top vehicle and you must hit them directly, like no room for mistakes, you have to thread the needle to kamikaze kill

What happened? Ive never damaged anyone by ramming or got damaged by planes in or out of player control.
It only happens when you have bombs on your planr
ramming damage vs tanks exists but is extremely inconsistent
This is very rare where the aircraft is completely intact and you get hit directly in an open top vehicle, there’s the obvious chance of it not working but in a few cases it does work

Advice from a fellow player that also suffered, I suggest don't zoom in the scope and body shot any mother fuckers still standing. For ordinary drones 1 or 2 should do the trick with the sniper, Theron guards probably 3 or 2 and Boomers I got 6 or maybe 7 shots in before that fatass falls down. But if an enemy is charging you gtfo the position you're in toss in some grenade to finish em off don't aim just blind throw it and charge em with the chainsaw bayonet. And that's only in hardcore difficulty... God help you in Insanity.
