My personal experience after living in Vietnam for the past ten years: If the girl is from the countryside, mostly, are impractical and materialistic, thinking that marrying a foreigner would elevate her and her family from poverty. Worst still, she never been out of her country and the only language she can speak is Vietnamese. My advice is to look for an educated girl with at least tertiary qualifications ( Vietnam's university is not of high standards, so it is rather easy to get in). Preferably she could communicate in English or other languages. In a marriage, communication and understanding is paramount. Don't have to believe every word in this video.

Yellow Noodle in Hokkien is Sek Mee (熟麵) . When we Singaporeans use dialects to converse, we call 米台目 “ 鼻涕嘜” 。Actually, it was 米台目 that became nasal mucus and it's really Yaks. Malaysian Cantonese call it 老鼠粉 and this term has been picked up by some Singaporeans who can't speak dialect. Laksa goes with 粗米粉 and some noodle stalls include 冬粉. The fish noodle stall at the food court near my house also sells 麵綫。And then wanton mee use another type of noodle and zichar stalls provide 河粉、伊麵 and 生麵。And since China 拉麵 came to Singapore, we have another choice. That kind of noodle is suitable for 炸醬麵. And stalls selling Japanese food have Japanese ramen and udon.

When you do a take away, if you need another packet of chili you need to pay $0.40. If you eat in and wish to squeeze more chili from the tube placed outside, you cannot squeeze a lot. The male staff (who is just a staff and not the owner) in his 20s wearing glasses at Anchorvale Village at 140pm on 29July2024 commented that by taking a lot of chili is a way of annoying him. For me eating my food with chili is a form of enjoyment for me, why do I need to annoy him. Who the hell does he thinks he is. He retained my bowl and refused me from putting chili into my bowl. I paid money for my food and yet he has the guts to retain my bowl. How is taking lots of chili a form of annoying to him and he was rather sarcastic to me. How to do business if customers cannot take as much chili as they want… by them placing the whole tube outside is their problem. The male staff working at Anchorvale Village 140pm 29July2024 has attitude problem. It will be the last time of me patronising their stall.
