Why doesn't anybody react to an offering? Is it because they're too afraid that they might be stricken down by lightning or something? I've been trying to find a reaction video to an offering for a long time but it just seems like people are too scared to react to it because they might be drinking the poison?

Saw lots of bands there and played there a bunch of times too. It was a rare place. They had a full PA, smoke machines, etc and it was all just a few feet away from a family eating pizza. LOL. But it was a culture and it was our place to hang. You would play there, and then head down the El Camino to the Tower Records in San Mateo and hang in the parking lot with your friends. Fun times.

I saw a few shows there.Mostly thrash bands. I know Forbidden Evil (Now Forbidden) cut their teeth there. I think Epidemic played there too.

My guess is someone knew of the saying "god is love" and translated it to "yob is love".

Jef's drumming ability is unparalleled. Listening to those Leviathan demos he hits everything 👌 I know he took inspiration from Ved Buens Ende. My favourite style of drumming for sure. Would love to see more footage of him tearing it up too.

Had an intuitive flash to look up Jef's life path number (numerology). Turns out he's a life path 22, which is a master number and is considered the "Master Builder". People who are born as lifepath 22 are experts at turning vague ideas into concrete realities. Makes sense with how you describe him as able hear a song in his head and lay down a drum track without a click. Leviathan is some of the most captivating music I've ever heard. Each track is structured masterfully. The man basically solved black metal for me hahah

Nu metal gets such unfair hate. Theres a reason it was so popular at one point. It was amazing. Personally punk was always terrible to me because it always sounded like $u!c!de music. Its very whiney in most cases. Nu metal that was good always had a good rhythm and beat because of the slight hip hop elements in it. I agree about papa roach and especially the song last resort, it was TRASH. Papa roaches lyrics are punk while the music is nu metal and I personally don't like papa roach mostly because of their lyrical content. The reason I like nu metal is because its harder than punk but its not that horrible thrash metal that that has lyrics you can't understand because they growl it and scream it as well. Anyone who says they like cannibal corpse automatically lets me know they have no taste in music whatsoever.

Wrest is the definition of multi-talented. And yes, as a Leviathan fan who is also learning to play the drums, I would have also appreciated drum cam footage from Wrest. But he likes his privacy, which is something I understand.

We wrote these songs during the pandemic, with a few of us being in different parts of the country and yes we sampled real drums because we honestly didn’t know if we’d ever be playing these songs live. We now have a real life living breathing drummer and have already toured and recorded an album with Andy Patterson (Subrosa, The Otolith) and It’s currently being mixed by Andrew Schneider (Ken Mode, Cave In, Unsane, Julie Christmas). Still haven’t heard a record better than Polar Fleet. Was lucky enough to get to play with them once at the Double Door in Chicago.

Just recently watched the GT series with my son and I thought some of that background music sounded very much like Pinkish Black. Watch this interview a few weeks later and now I know why. Fuckin awesome.

I would disagree that blindly obeying Democrats and liberal media is outlaw. I find it funny they think they’re the rebellion. I don’t like Nick’s politics but damn I love his music. One of my new favorites.
