...I bought my 1st real hi fi from the CMC on Summer Ave. . $850 in '76' was a lot of money, but it was a GREAT system that I put together from various brands. I remember that the Kansas album 'Point Of Know Return' had just come out and they LOVED using it when showing off their gear.

I absolutely detest Jake Garn. Why? Gregory Jarvis wasn't supposed to be on this mission. Jarvis was scheduled for the previous launch. However, he was removed so someone else could take his spot -- that someone else was Jake Garn. FACT. Jarvis' widow appeared on the Netflix Challenger documentary and she commented that when Garn came to visit the distraught families she wouldn't shake his hand or look at him. He knew why. What a shame.

As time passes you can truly see how talented Ed,Doc and Tommy were.
