@@mypony7310 yes
He never even answered the question. All he did was blow a lot of hot air. Read my first comment you're welcome
@briansullivan.1341 need to rewatch it then. Covered the topic
I charge 125 hook. If it needs winch. it's a dollar a minute. Winch will be needed if I cannot put a tow truck directly in front of the vehicle. Special equipment. From jumpstart to tire skate. Is $50. It's $3.50 per total in route mile. 5.50 loaded.
Thank you for sharing..
If tiure really gangsta boy your health you join la fitness or even planet fitness with the all locations pass . You peel off 80 min a day no matter what and you get to the closest gym you can in whatever area during what tends to be your slowest period . For me it’s after morning rush or afternoon. Get it in excuses sitting all day wrecks you from head to toe

How u get calls from the customers???
@@luisrodriguez-df8pt watch my marketing video
When you say you need to make $75 per hour if you have an older truck how many hour day is that $75 based on? For example, 12 hour day at $75 = $900 per day.
@stevenintexas6947 based on all overhead / fixed expenses. Current economy is now 100 to 125 a working hr. So when the truck is running it needs to be doing that at minimum to turn a profit
Do you tow semis? Isbthat a totally different biz?
@choski76 not yet. Same business just bigger
@Guardianautoservices thanks. Seems like a tuff biz. You gotta be cut out for that
@choski76 yes it is definitely a lifestyle to say the least.
How much or what percentage of your work is at night? I mean like sleeping time from 11pm to 7am?
If I wanted to start roadside assistance business do I sign up with every company out there or is there a way for them to reach me for work?
@angelcruz545 start marketing your business. Signing up will get the phone ringing but if you create a google business page along with social media that is linked it will get organic calls. Some of my other videos talk about it.
@@Guardianautoservices I’ll check out the other videos. Thanks for getting back to me.
Police rotations? Do you revolve cops for money?
How can I contact you
Youre a good man
Ioved that thanks
Great video!
Hey man I’ve watched all your videos I am located in north Georgia as well and would like to talk!
Great Advice bro. So what kind of insurance is needed to start roadside assistance and towing business and is there a preferred company to use for a good rate. And a package for all permits licenses and coverages?
It varies depending on state ,companies subcontrslacted with, etc.
My car got towed last year, and I got charged about $275. That's why we want to get into this business. But you said the motor club one call is $20-30?? I mean it's cheaper than an Uber. How does that make sense and how can it support the business. The insurance is about $3500 a month.
Motorclubs are the Achilles heel of the business. They are needed but as a provider they cannot be your entire business model.
But... I will also say do not get into this business for money or have the thought you can make xxxxxxx amount of money. You will fail or be miserable, maybe both. This is a business that you have to fully enjoy or you won't make it.
I wonder how much is the average of motor club offering.
Varies depending on area and the amount of providers
My car got towed I was pissed but I watched this whole video it was good
I could tell tales about IAA and the unbelievqble amount of non sense and disrespect weve gotten from them since they got bought out a few years back to include dispatching cars they never vetting or called on themselves, demanding us to be on the road more than the law allows, started dispatching cars to us premarked as late, waiting till 3pm or later to dispatch cars and demanding them brought in that day, stopped dispatching work for the next day and started making us wait till 9am or later for our first run, brought in a cat team they were paying 2 grand a day and giving them work before us claiming the cat team was there because we couldnt keep up but we couldnt "keep up" because NO ONE was dispatching but the branch manager and she was waiting so late in the day to even give us work and when we got back with that we would sit around an empty office for an hour or more before she stopped playing on her phone long enough to give us another run. IAA wasnt too bad before... especially if you owned the truck and drove it but now.... I flat out told my boss im done with em dont send me back there and since that convo hes agreed because they started doing it to him as well directly. Anyone thinking of working for this company.... go outside, pull the hood back on your truck, take out the engine and replacebit withbone that doesnt run..... because in a few years when you put 500,000 miles on it thats how its gonna be .... and stay cause they dont pay enough to replace it. If you plan on paying someone to drive your truck .... youll do better selling everything and stocking shelves at walmart unless you plan on never changing the oil or repairing anything that wears out.... and it will... quickly.
You got a sub
Thank you for the information
This was amazing. Thank you
You did great valuable and professional. Thank you
Good info. Now I need to learn how to hook and tow
Gob bless you man. It was a big lesson learned.
Solid bro 🪨
Hey man I just wanted to say thanks. I’m a combat veteran that is currently running my dad’s heavy equipment company, I’ve been doing so for 10 years but things are bad with him so it’s time for me to move. I saw all that to say that I’m extremely driven/ hungry (I have a family to feed) and I have been around trucks and equipment my entire life so having a tow truck is some sort has always been a low key dream of mine. I’d love a rotator but I don’t have the experience or a million dollars. I think if I get a truck I’m going to buy a light duty like a ram 5500 or a small Kenworth. I’ll comment more but I really appreciate your information your passing on. It’s great info and I like that you’re prefacing all of this with saying “hey this is how we do it here, that doesn’t mean that’ll work where you are.”. Cheers man
Good luck! It's a great business if your heart is in it. Buy the biggest piece of equipment that will do the most work. I wouldn't buy an f550 unless its a twin line wrecker. But any questions please ask. Im going to try to do more videos as i have time. Just been busy with transports
do those companies here seasonally? here it snows 4 months/year and thats when id plan to tow full time
Honestly, i couldn't answer that, but i would think it would be full-time. People wreck every day. So cars are always on the move
I know that you know this, but I’m just writing these comments to help out the other people who may be reading them
A good rule to remember that my granddaddy taught me was the first one to speak about money is a loser that being said, I interpreted it as get all the information you can before you give them a quote
I have a tow truck company based out of Alpharetta and we are 75 and four or 85 and four if I gotta use ramps it’s out automatically 125. If I don’t wanna do it, I price it real high and if they go for it, then I do it and if they pay cash, I’ll give them a discount.
Thank you buddy. Your videos are simple and self explaining. Very helpful
RPM in Houston makes/sells wreckers if your looking for one.
Hi brother, thanks for u advices very helpfull,i got a cuestion, would be ok to start the bussines tow with a 350 chevy gas engine? Thanks
Yes... anything is better than nothing. Take care of it and stay on top of maintenance.
Thanks a lot brother 🫡
I appreciate the info. Could you groom your facial hair tho.
