I think that's John is awesome that he rocks

I'm Brazilian and I know that our culture has little similarity with the roots of the people who created this album. But he is part of my life! Since I heard it for the first time in 1983, I was hooked by the wonderful compositions, the well-structured arrangements and the quality of the musicians. And, oddly enough, I just presented the album to an Englishman who didn't know the band. It's the same thing as him introducing me to a bossa nova album.

I never paid a lot of attention to this band before, but I just heard Under The Blade for the first time and it totally kicks ass! I'm adding it to a collection I'm making for Halloween 🎃. I also like the song The Alchemist by Blue Oster Cult, and that will be on the as well. Thanks..

For the last few years, current evens have made me think this very album. The title makes me think of the president's new clothes that we're paying billions for; The cover reminds me of monkeypox. "Blind" describes Republicans waiting for their "red tsunami" in November; "Mr. Jones" is the run-of-the-mill, self-righteous, soy faced influencer; "Totally Nude" is the anti-logic of the postmodern world - especially the body positivity movement that I noticed while recovering from acute pancreatitis and NAFLD last year; "Ruby Dear" ... well, when you run out of things to protest about, you need to cause new problems in the world; "(Nothing But) Flowers" - Gen-X people bugging out, isolating themselves and pretending to be master homesteaders; "The Democratic Circus" needs no explanation; "The Facts Of Life" demonstrates the queer Marxism being pushed in schools and universities; "Mommy Daddy You & I" - Referring to the previous track, that includes destruction of the family. Plus, it was Obama who broke up families at the border; Trump wanted to deport them together; and Biden and Harris just want pure chaos; "Big Daddy" ... Eventually, there will be a generation of men - somewhere in the world - who are tired of the chaos and will put society back on track. The question is, what set of ethics will they be using? Meanwhile, "Bill" is my son's generation, just pushing whatever they can get away with and whatever way they can shock older folks; "Cool Water" - You vill own nossing und be hchchappy. We just need your tax money to send to Ukrainian drama workshops.

One of my favorite albums, bought it right when it came out! Every song is great!

At 8:36 Killer Eyes has a great guitar riff that all gen X and Z will know , used by many artists with much less talent and creativity than The Kinks! Sad and lazy modern music... The Kinks Arista era is fantastic!

I remember that back in the mid-80s I heard this Krokus album for the first time and the truth is that I really liked it from the first time I heard it. Memories with some melancholy for those times gone by, but a great pleasure to be able to continue listening to this type of music even today.
