Yeonhwado is a lovely little island off the south coast of South Korea that you can get to by ferry from Tongyeong.

How much did you spend per ticket?
For the Business Class tickets we paid about 170,000 won each way. So each person was about 350,000 won round trip :)

Hey there - did you get this stamp at the national park office? I think I'm going to take a bus to Haeinsa Terminal when I go, but that's quite far from the park office. Is there another place to get the stamp? The addresses in the back of the passport aren't coming up on Kakao/naver for some reason
Hey! We actually went to the main national park office in Gaya and they didn't have the stamp (at least when we went)! We ended up going to Sorigil station to get our stamp. We've noticed the stamps are pretty much near all the major trail heads, and by looking at the map, we see there is a little ranger station on the back side of Haeinsa Temple, and we don't know for sure, but we would think there would be a stamp there since it's near the main trailhead. Good luck with your passport!
@@SmithsinSapporo A little update - I went to Gayasan last weekend and had a lovely hike! There was indeed a stamp at the start of the trail near Haeinsa. It seems that on the maps in the park, anywhere called an "information center" will have a stamp. A little confusing since the locations at the back of the passport are often just the national park office (which don't always have the stamps). Anyway, thank you for your help!!

This temple sounds and looks like a Chinese temple, not Korean. 해동용궁사 좋은 절이죠. 그런데 내가 자라난 부산에 있는 이 절은 모든 글자들과 기둥이 온통 중국애들 좋아하는 빨간색으로 칠해 놓고, 석상들도 중국 절에 있는 석상 모양으로 갖다 놓았습니다. 조속히 한국적인 빛깔들과 석상들로 교체해 한국 불교문화의 유구한 고유미를 세계인들에게 자랑합시다. 한마디로 중국 절 같습니다. 세계적인 미항 부산해안의 자연스러운 경관을 몹시 해치고 있고요. 같은 동해안의 관동팔경 중 하나인 조그마한 절 양양 낙산사를 참고할 필요도 있겠습니다. 지금은 가장 한국적인 것이 가장 세계적인 것이 되는 시대잖습니까? 해동용궁사 다시 한번 가보겠습니다.

Haedong Yonggungsa is a good temple on a coastal area in Busan where I grew up. But this temple looks like a Chinese temple, not Korean. In this temple, most of the letters and pillars were painted red, which Chinese people like, and the stone statues were placed in the shape of the statues in typical Chinese temples. We'd better replace them with Korean colors and Korean sculptures as soon as possible and show the world the eternal beauty of the unique Korean Buddhist art culture. In short, Haedong Yonggungsa, now looking like a Chinese temple, seriously damages the scenery of the world-class beauty port of Busan. We may refer to Naksansa, a small temple in Yangyang--one of the Eight Most Beautiul Sights of the Gwandong Region along the same East Coast. Isn't this the time when typical Korean things become typically global? Let's go there again.”
