I'm actually looking at that switch and others from punkshoo. Keebhut is having a sale. Only thing that I don't like is the spring weight.
It's heavy and I just lubed them. Might do a spring swap on them.

The switches sound really good but I find them a very heavy key press. Zero stem wobble!
Agree, they sound excellent. I recently spring swapped them. Feels much better now.

No, they ain't heavy at all my friend. Extreme smooth, these switches. Just like the Ghost Dragon, they don't feel heavy at all. These switches are unique thanks to the bearings!
@@s21n_keebs Hmmm really? You mentioned the Ghost Dragons and I've been chewing on that and thought the bottom out would be too heavy for me. I always have this urge to try something new especially if there is too much hype on it.
@@DadTech1981 If you're not, you should try the Ghost Dragon. I'd say you won't regret it. They make most keebs shine!

I would think so, yet to try but I am running Nixies on Neo80 with PP and it sounds pleasant! Throwing all sorts of switches here is purely experimental as this board is hard to tame!!
@@s21n_keebs i put Gateron ks3 onto this board, it sound pretty clacky and soft felling. Also there are rcm that cherry switch can mounted on this board. Mx brown takes time to modded well, so i haven't got it on board

Yes, I do. I've never removed it on either of my TL. This board is not easy to config.
@@s21n_keebs definitely not. I have the 1.2mm pcb directly from swagkeys and the 1.6mm pcb from divinikey. You made it sound good w/o foams. that's gonna be my goal.

Sound so good! Can you compare this Ghost Dragon to Catmint? In term of typing feel, volume
TQ! I'd find the Dragons to be much nicer to type compared to Catmint. They are lighter on each key stroke, yet loud and clacky.
Sounds fantastic on that (but what DOESN'T sound good on a Neo board?)! Love the artisan too! I just bought the same one a few weeks ago!

I wish I could help, as you can see I do not own both PCB for a keyboard. This is stock 1.6mm non-flex PCB. But I do know that the JSON is different and shortcut keys for RGB are different with 1.2mm PCBs.

@@truongvuonghuy6760 It's a decent and fun board (USD50 Barebone). No issues with quality, and I can't say it is amazing. The type feel is good with the non-flex cut PCB, very comfortable. There are aftermarket plates for FR4 & Alu. So it depends on your preference. Don't expect the board to sound amazing but i'd say decent. Hope that helps.

@@s21n_keebs or the beige one! However, the remaining PCB left is 1.2mm I guess I'll have to wait for the re-run if any. I tried running foamless with all the flex cuts and it sounded very thin and excessive bounce.

@@Oveey I've not tried v1. For the price range, it's super competitive nowadays! But the magnetic connection and screwless to remove the casing is awesome!

@@Oveey Cycle7 is a different board. I wouldn't compared them H2H. I'd say the v2 is a nice board. Only thing I don't like is how the space bar sounds. It's probably of how the placement of the PCB w/ plates are on the v2
