St Phil's is an evangelical Anglican Church. We meet at 9 am every Sunday. There are numerous small groups, as well as children, youth and men's ministry. English Conversation and Art Classes times are on our website, stphilsrochedale.church

@@LloydDuncan-f5g As individuals, certainly. Plenty of billionaires and Hollywood actors are both Christian and Non-Christian. Similarly out of the entire population of homeless, imprisoned, poor and sick are also a mix of religious alignments. I'm not American but from my experience with people as a whole I see people living to old age with a combination of positive and negative aspects to their lives every day. Some of those people have faith, others don't. In my eyes that to me looks like everyone is able to live the same kinds of lives even if they aren't being built upon the "only sure foundation"

I thought that the apostles were the foundation with Christ being the chief cornerstone. Jesus Christ is the living Word of God. The Holy Spirit confirms it. Im not saying anything negative about the Bible, the point being, Jesus is the rock upon which I stand, everything else that can be shaken will be shaken. Thank you for this. I went to Catholic schools my whole school life and the nuns never encouraged us to read the Bible on a daily basis. All they ever taught was through guilt association. They had me scared to death of God and Jesus but encouraged us to pray to saints which I now know is wrong. The only way to the Father is through His Son, Jesus Christ. Sermon on the mount.
