Got there early to make sure we had a spot. Cold wind but sunny. Feliz liked it until the noises of the rocket occurred. Sorry for me being all over at times. It's hard for me to stay focused on the rocket when it's just a speck in the sky.

So many flying around by the Gift Shop Did not see this many the last time we were here

Easy walking trail There's not much to see this time of year. We did see 1 Javelina. Was told it was a big one.

YMR Veterinaru Services 956-306-8868 Her visit was part of our adoption agreement, so we got a Wellnss Check for 50% off, so it was only about $65. Awesome veterinarian, very caring and thorough, vet tech was awesome, and front desk girls were awesome. Recommend this clinic to anyone in the area.

Wanted to post this after we came up with a name. Feliz (means happy, lucky, fortunate) Sophia (Shelter name was Sophia Rae. Means wisdom) 12-23-24 was her adoption day from Rio Grande Humane Society, Birthday is Aug. 16, 2024 Weighs 4.2 lbs, 4 months old. Such a smart girl. We couldn't be happier!!

Christmas Cart Parade @ Sleepy Valley Resort

We finally got to see one. She was eating under a bird feeder. Smart girl. They are the size of a bigger pot-bellied pig. She seemed used to people as she didn't run off.

Took a nice long hike to see if we could see any Javalinas or Road Runners or any other wildlife. There was not much seen on the trails, though. Saw evidence they were there (foot prints and droppings). We went with 2 other Workampers, Ty and Sherri. Great day for hiking. Trails were easy. One we took was rocky, and it let you know on the sign.

I forgot my selfie stick again. It was hard to follow and the landing was so cool but we didn't get a picture or video as it happened so fast. It went into the Gulf, and it was a ball of fire as it hit

Tram ride, about 1 hour Willow Lakes Trail walk Easy, gravel, small part was cement sidewalk A couple of hours walking on the trails, stopping to see things along the way Lizzards were crossing in front of us on the trails, but they were small Saw no wildlife other than a few birds. NOTE: Bring Binoculars, you may see more than we did

They finally came out to take the cracked one out and put the new one in. Took about 2 hours There were 5 guys. I'm sorry about the bloopers, I'm out of practice, I guess Quite the procedure. Nice breeze, but still hot at 91°

The sand is not white like the AL/FL, it's more tan, but still soft Took us 1 hour 40 mins to get there from Mission, TX. Did have the morning "rush hour" traffic, so that slowed us down. Cloudy until we got closer and then mostly sunny Make sure you have 4-Wheel Drive
