Nadat Melatti in 2006 in contact kwam met Candye Kane (USA) en Sue Palmer (USA) en een jaar later met Dani Wilde (UK), was er geen houden meer aan. Vanaf dat moment wist ze wat ze wilde worden; muzikant. Het zijn dan ook deze drie Powervrouwen uit de blues scène geweest, die haar de daarop volgende jaren elk op hun eigen wijze hebben aangemoedigd en ondersteund om haar dromen waar te maken.
