Something odd has went down. First, thank you for posting the 'now' brief residue of the mandela effect. The south pacific quote has been wiped out of all current audio and video recordings of this song.

Rostropovich and Britten had such a special relationship that Rostropovich refused to perform or record this piece with anyone else, for the rest of his life. When Rostropovich was on his deathbed his daughter played this recording, he couldn't speak, tears came out of his eyes. A very special recording indeed!

In my opinion,( it's easyer to say it now). Apart from "My sweet Lord ", all the others are better like this. The Dylan cover it's absolutely beautiful. We can listen clearly to his voice. Every word. Sometimes i wish George wasn't so shy. He's voice his just so sweet that it melts me totally on this chair 😊 Also the general sound gives me "White Album " vibes
