it was only 1k attempts so a few hours of playing why the screaming?
It wasn't just "a few hours," it was months for me. Apart from when I was a kid beating Deadlocked for the first time, this is the most amount of time and attempts I've put into a level. Time is a resource I don't have much of these days so I had to chip away at this for every day for a while. That, plus the fact that because the level is so long each attempt took a significant amount of time to complete, added up. This was a huge step up in difficulty for me as well, as other Hard/Insane Demons I've beaten have taken me 300-600 attempts each, and this took me over 1000. The final coin is also so incredibly luck based I was lucky to get one I had put a lot of practice into. Yea I may have overreacted a little, but I was so incredibly relieved to beat it for the first time.
