Glenartney - Aug24
Lots of life on this interesting wreck dive out of Eastbourne. Often covered by sandbanks, this time it was fairly uncovered and great to see the boilers etc.

Excellent dive in mid channel on the Playa de Finisterre in better visibility than we normally get in the UK !
La Somme (not) - Aug24

Nice dive on an upright wreck out of Eastbourne. Originally thought to be the Somme this now seems unlikely as she was a little too large and carrying the wrong cargo.
Glencoe - Aug24

Great dive on a wreck that is charted as the Lornaston but is more likely the Glencoe since the engine is a better match.

Nice dive around what is now a protected wreck site. Vizibility not quite as good as the lisbon as the seabed was a lot more silty ... but plenty of scallops as a result

Last dive of the week in Eyemouth with Marine Quest. Great dive in 20m viz on this old wreck scuttled by the germans in 1917 (I believe)

Large steamship sunk at the end of WW2 just after the armistice was announced.

A cargo steamship sunk in 1917 by UC-44. Mainly intact and upright but fairly dark although the viz was a little better today than earlier in the week.
HMS Pathfinder - Jun24

The stern 3/4 of HMS Pathfinder sitting in ~65m out of Eyemouth on a very silty seabed. The bow is a way off as it sank ~ 20 minutes before the rest of the wreck. Generally low viz here and today was no exception. Lots of brass on the wreck due to the no take policy but surprisingly little life.

Small armed trawler off the coast of Eyemouth in 54m. Dark but interesting dive although less life on this than yesterday's sub.

most fish in the codfish family..amazing the different colors! And the Serenade for Winds, K-361 Mozart. A real treat, the entire posting
Sounds like a bit of Mozart ???? Nice.
fun times
not the best visibility, and by the look of it you can't enter wreck, nice video, the music make me sleep 😅
Nicely done, sir. Thank you for this.
Lots of bib
Hello Andrew, great video, looks as though you were on the wreck the same day as us, can see our shot line on the stern, what filming equipment do you use ? those lights are great. Regards Jamie
Hi Jamie - it is just a gopro (was a hero 10 i think) with a pair of cheap Trustfire DF50 video lights
My Brother's last resting place .thanks for posting
Sorry to hear that Stephen. We take great care when we dive these wrecks and we would be happy to take a momento down for you next time we dive it or take more video or stills for you.
@@K1SSCam that's ok thanks Andrew , just a sad waste of lives .....when you look at the world we live in now .but thanks for the video
My brother's last resting place Robert myerscough
Has anyone dived SS Emerald just few 100m from Caleb Sprague? My Great Grandfather sadly lost his life in the same E-Boat attack onboard her. What is the general rule for recovering items from the vessels? I would love to find out more. Thanks for this great video 🙏🏻
I know of the wreck of the SS Emerald but have not dived it yet. I can always ask the skipped to drop me there next time we go in that direction and shoot some video for you if you would like that.
Carlisle castle?????
Looks an amazing experience
Excellent! Whats with the blue dryglove???
No idea - but they are VERY blue !! :-). No colour rebalance though ....
Looks like it was good vis - certainly twice as good as the next day out with Dave.
Hi, fascinating but please respect. My grandfather, Charles Johnson, died there, the only casualty.
Thanks Ralph, most of us always do. I am sorry he was lost there. If you want any more photos / video please let me know and next time I dive it i will try to get them for you.
Very Nice ! What Camera / Lighting setup do you use?
Trying a new simpler one this year. Basic gopro in one hand and an aqualung aqualux 5000 on wide focus in the other.
The sea is like a mill pond! Vis poor but looked a great dive :-)
Nice Andy.
Hey, I just wanted to say thank you for posting your videos of the Caleb Sprague. My great, great uncle was a fireman/trimmer in the engine room and was killed when it sank. It's been really interesting to find our more about the ship and see the wreck. Anna.
Evita Reviews Glad you liked it Anna. I will try to let you know next time we go out to dive it.
My brother was royal navy gunner ....sad ending so near the end of the war
yep - dinner for 6 ... did you spot the Turbot before I bagged it?
