the craziest thing about the kevin bridges bit is that when david is relentlessly calling him out on the details, you can SEE kevin smiling because he knows it's working, haha. his job was to tell this truthful story but make it seem like it's a lie, and he did it flawlessly. he fooled them not into thinking a fake thing was true, but into thinking a true thing was fake. masterful. and like with hindsight you can tell that it's intentional too, he played it this way on purpose and it was great
