Consider How You Have Fared
What's your priority? Spiritual or Material Prosperity? The Jews suffered over 70 years in captivity . But when they returned to Jerusalem after their exile, for 18 long years, they neglected to rebuild the Temple and instead busied themselves and with their own comforts.
Everything they did, ended up in failure until Prophet Haggai brings the word of The Lord to them asking "Consider your ways" Consider how you have fared.
They respond positively and begin to rebuild the Temple.

Never Despair, always Trust. To Trust is to entrust. Hope is strengthened, not weakened in the darkest moments of the lives of those trust that The Lord holds the switch. He will turn on the lights as sure as he does the morning sunrise. "Weeping may endure for the night , but joy commeth in the morning" (Psalm 30:5).
