I went to the show in Phoenix two years ago now, and couldn't believe my ears when they opened with Salt Wound 😅

The bass is mixed great...but man...they need to bring that Wal bass back at all costs. It sounds infinitely better than that Fender he uses. You can tell how much the Wal bass added to tracks like Macaque.

Headstand is fantastic. Wondered how it would sound live and it’s awesome. Sounds huge.

Saw this tour. Paid to see this on-line and bought the DVD. Even met the band this time that I paid extra for. Why. Because they are the best band ever.

Update: This EP got uploaded to Spotify! I don't know who uploaded it, but judging by the band description, it probably wasn't one of the band members. Also, under the "Artist Pick" section, it's the EP with the sentence "Finally out." attatched.

I just realized today the album version doesn't has this superior solo. I've always since knew the song listened to any version interchangably because I thought there weren't more than one or any difference. But today I just came from listening to the autogenerated upload of the song from the album (several months after listening to the whole album from where it came from) and noticed the solo was quite different and not as good, so I checked out this one and I noticed it had the solo I remembered. My brain works funnily sometimes

Actually……. I had originally played all the solos on the album including this one. Just weeks later CJ left the band and we got a new guitar player. I thought it would be cool to let him re-record the solos since the album hadn’t been released yet, figuring he’d be more invested in it etc. I haven’t heard this solo since I recorded it, I don’t have any of the original versions. It is pretty badass. Wish I had the others! As far as the origin of the song: A friend of mine named Jun who worked for Sega contacted me about creating a song for the Shadow The Hedgehog game. I of course said yes and immediately wrote this song. He traveled from Japan to Las Vegas and I assumed we would record his parts for the song as he’s a badass guitar player, but when he arrived he said he didn’t want this song because he wanted to write a song together! So we wrote a song together that appears on the game soundtrack if I’m not mistaken. Not sure what that song is called. When we started putting together the 2nd Magna-Fi record we decided to use this song as we thought it was pretty cool. If anyone has the versions with the original solos I’d like to hear them.
