This video uses a Carnot cycle to determine the thermodynamic efficiency of a heat engine.
Change in entropy in a Carnot cycle
This video demonstrates that entropy is a state function by calculating the change in entropy in a Carnot cycle
CHEM 3615. Lecture 01/26/21

Textbook sections covered: 1.4.1 to 1.4.4
The Joule-Thomson effect
This video describes the Joule-Thomson effect in the context of the variation of the enthalpy with pressure. It showcases an isenthalpic process that allows to determine the Joule-Thompson coefficient
The variation of enthalpy with temperature and pressure
This video describes how the enthalpy depends on temperature and pressure. The Joule-Thompson coefficient is introduced.
The variation of internal energy with temperature at constant pressure
This video describes the variation of internal energy with temperature at constant pressure. The expansion coefficient and isothermal compressibility of substances is used to establish universal relationships between the heat capacities at constant pressure and volume. There is an error in the definition of isothermal compressibility at 8:50. Kappa_T=-1/V(dV/dP)_T rather than -1/V(dV/dT)_P. Tha...
The variation of internal energy with volume and temperature
This video describes the variation of the internal energy with volume and temperature and introduces the concept of internal pressure.
Adiabatic expansions: change in pressure and volume
This video derives a relationship between the initial and final pressures and volumes of an adiabatic expansion of an ideal gas
Adiabatic expansions: change in temperature and volume
This video derives a relationship between the initial and final temperatures and volumes in an adiabatic ideal gas expansion
Adiabatic expansions: work and change in internal energy

This video provides a foundation to understand adiabatic gas expansions. It provides an understanding of how to calculate work and the change in internal energy.
The heat capacities at constant volume for ideal gases
This video shows how to obtain the heat capacity at constant volume for an ideal gas from the equipartition of energy principle
The variation of internal energy with temperature

This video describes how the heat capacity at constant volume of a substance provides the variation of the internal energy of the substance with temperature at constant volume.
The first law at constant volume: path-dependent vs state functions
This video shows how the first law applies to constant volume and introduces the concept of a state function in contradistinction to path-dependent thermodynamic functions.

In the example at the end you say that the we can obtain electrical energy from the combustion of coal, however it is from the work produced from a turbine that spins a generator that actually produces this electrical energy. So the combustion of the coal itself does not directly generate this electrical work so I am confused

With the mathematical equation of the TDM in mind, the explanation looks nice. But a dipole has two poles. I've never seen a dipole in this video.

The Answer is INCORRECT because:- Ka1 is incorrectly written as concentration of HCO3- is not x but x-y.
