So I need to start going again to get my moneys worth. It’s a pretty casual laid back atmosphere but there’s a lot of people just sitting on the machines doing thumb exercises on their phones lol. It’s funny how we have some of the same problems but also opposite problems lol, I’m 5’7” and about 125 lbs if you can believe that. And it’s not even that I’m anorexic looking or anything but I just have a small bone structure. The times I have gone to the gym religiously I struggled to even put on weight and gain muscle because it’s easier to convert fat that’s already there to muscle than build it from nothing, not that’s an excuse lol. It might actually be a good sign for you that you’re that heavy but not super fat per we because it means you have a naturally beefy bone structure where it’s not overly difficult to convert fat to muscle and become very strong.

Sorry if I'm missing some information that makes this comment sound stupid. I try to check in every couple weeks or so because I can relate to many of your struggles. I just wanted to share some wisdom I've found in my life recently. There's a lot of credibility to this advice as it all comes from my mentor at work, who is a certified "chad". Dude has had so much success, and it doesn't have very much to do with looks. The tool that works for him is charisma, specifically making people laugh and exhibiting confidence. This is the secret, I can tell. Being attractive and successful is certainly a factor, but charisma trumps all. Me, I have zero charisma. I've made a lot of progress in glowing myself up so to speak, and although I don't get stares anymore, I found that it didn't really help me progress my social life at all. If you can figure out how to make girls laugh, and display confidence about yourself and owning who you are, you're suddenly the face that makes all the girls light up when you walk in (compliments are also very effective). I'm trying to figure out the best way to develop these skills since, like you, I tend to walk away or give short answers in most social scenarios. I can confidently say that you have a much better head start than I do, you have a lot of funny insights and comments throughout your video entries. Another thing I want to mention, mindset is key. Try not to put this girl on a pedestal and think that she's better than you. She's a human with insecurities, flaws, and mortality, just like you. She definitely likes your company, so just take it slow by figuring out how you can make her laugh. Definitely something worth looking into, but that's just some friendly advice from some guy on the internet. It might seem like obvious advice but the red pill kind of led me to believe that looks and alpha traits were all that mattered. Something to think about. Whatever the Source is, God, the Universe etc., it cares only about keeping its pulse of existence and the game of life going, and cares about Itself only at the collective level, not as individuals. So great is the will to live that animals and humans base their whole evolutionary process around it, maximizing life, shunning death, and deluding ourselves to make things seem better than they really are. You’re right, life is beautiful, and you’re also right that there are only bits and pieces of beauty sprinkled in to the main fabric of boredom, anxiety and pain. But to keep this game going, we tell ourselves that the precious moments of happiness and “rightness” with everything are enough to make everything worth it.

I'm in the same boat, trying to lose weight and build a bit of muscle. Strength building is a very fascinating phenomenon, I've never really thought about it before. You're basically creating microtears in your muscle tissue, signaling your brain to not only heal those muscular fibers but also to make them stronger. This is a very simplified explanation of the process but it really helps knowing that this stuff isn't as complicated as we think it is. I'm working with a home gym for now, just doing push-ups, sit-ups, and pull-ups (attempting pull-ups at least). Main thing is giving yourself enough time to rest between sessions and tracking your limits so you can go further in your next session. As far as mogging within the gym, just remember that those guys were small/out of shape at one point too. They likely still compare themselves to bigger guys too since body dysmorphia is shockingly common within the bodybuilding community. Do some research on common gym equipment and how to use the machines, maybe some exercises you want to try. This way you're a bit more confident going into it. I wish you luck, and congratulations on starting the path towards the best version of yourself! I'll be patiently waiting to hear how your first experience goes.

The problem is we are taught contradictory things about what being a good man is. Women say they want a nice, gentle man..they want a project to turn him INTO a nice gentle man, or be a gentleman just for her, and a strong dominant alpha towards the world. I answered the same as you to most of these questions. Very introverted but still desire closeness with the hypothetical and very rare person who I vibe with. The problem with forming friendships with me is not only my shyness and probable autism but the lack of shared activities; I don’t have many hobbies that can be done with other people. And most adult friendships especially for men, they involve shared interests and activities that go beyond just talking which you see a lot with female friendships (and shopping lol).

NGL, this was enjoyable. This had some realism and that’s why it was enjoyable. By nature, people are drawn to things that are relatable or something that they could see themselves too and be like “yeah I totally understand” or if they’re older like myself they could say “oh yeah that was me”. Even with the parent calling u far away and ur like “ugh what do u want” 😂 Now of course there’s differences that I personally can’t relate cus of the different eras as I’m 32 and I didn’t grew up in the ghettos, but I can understand what ur saying and there’s a few things I can relate of how u felt about some things. When u mention about the “negative” things about yourself and say it’s not “bad”, truth be told they can be bad and others around u will see that. Unless they know ur playing around, but even so sometimes that’s how u really feel and try to play it off. So if someone thinks ur depress or take it seriously, that just means they care or they’re a caring person just being concern. When it comes to relationships, there’s absolutely no rush to get into one especially when it comes to sex. There’s always that “pressure” to lose our virginity’s ASAP or just get with a girl, but it’s honestly stupid and it’s more better to be with someone ur with or at the very least with someone u trust. Believe me. I don’t have regrets who I was with, but it’s because of that mindset is why all of them were great encounters and I didn’t end up with someone I had regrets with. I pray your aunt makes a full recovery. And about the running, that happens to be one of my best copes, just putting my earbuds in and jogging on the railtrail behind my house. For awhile I was doing 5k events and placing pretty well in my age bracket. This year though, I’ve been running less, I’m down to like once a week and because of that I get winded faster. I just don’t have as much energy, I don’t know if it’s because I now have added responsibilities at my job.
