After tons of work researching and installing upgrades, along with a full maintenance rebuild, Sledge returns to the field only to burn baby burn. Itch scrachin'; another day out; and it was early. I don't know, Sledge is still talking to me out there (LOL). Solo-run, nice to grab a new PB, though under very decent conditions. Oh well, it counts so we move on. Sledge will undergo a full maintenance rebuild before the next run; and also lose some weight. Stay tuned for more to come from the Sledge Hammer; will he ever get to 175 or 180? .....

Hey bro I noticed it looks like you’re running the crossfire on the Rc8x, I just ordered the same for mine, are you running the micro receiver with built in pwn? I’ve searched for months and have yet to find anyone running the same setup 😂

It works for me, but some guy told me there was another solution regarding TBS... He said something about the Crossfire being too slow and that TBS offered a faster cheaper setup. Check with the Team Blacksheep group on FB. The guys I. Thay group are super familiar with TBS stuff. ..when I got mine I wasn't so educated. That's how this hobby goes though right?.. hahaha. But on thay point, I'm telling you so you can adjust accordingly.

Nice , my v2 was all over the road wa from the bottom knuckles to tight. Looked kinda similar, picked it up turned left and the wheels wouldn’t go back completely straight until I loosened them … not saying it was just looked similar

I just got back into the speed run game I’m happy if I can hit 130 again i currently went 97 on a typhon v5 stock electronics 23t 34tspool. You guys are killin it right now

Yeh, lately we seemed to have made some decent tuning choice....but I will say that my Porsche sat on the shelf for a couple months while I tried to determine the best next move after hitting 160mph. Now, I've already made my decision as to the next step....stay tuned....I aiming for 167-169 for the next time I run the Porsche! @juliensalas2945 It hit the water hole cover...combination of 96mm BSR and downforce pushing the car too close to the ground. A non-driver-error...stay runes...next run is food for a minimum 175mph!💯🤛🏿
@@SamPIZZLEyeah water hole caused it, caught my front splitter and front left A-Arm… down force was too much first time running 96mm BSR so it lowered the whole car a few millimeters hence the accident, I ran BSR Teals which are 100mm and never had issues. but over all the damages weren’t that bad simple fixing and now we should be back next! with 175 plus! stay tuned!

@dorsettcook Awesome motor...so far it performs pretty well. I actually still like the 1100kv better because it's so solid...the 1700s ha e that performance edge that still feels a little finicky, but I'm pretty sure it's going to outrun my 1100s once I can figure out the best gearing. JP is farther along I. That process as seen in the video, and there is surely more left in it by a Longshot. Good luck with your testing, and stay tuned for more from us on the 1700kv!

Does that RC have an integrated AI in the actual body, the transmitter, or somewhere else that monitors telemetry?

@AllCoolThingsStoneMountain The telemetry is passed from the electronic speed controller on-car to the remote controller. Additionally, the GPS location and speed is tracked through a separate device placed onboard chassis and connected to cell phone application.

@juliensalas2945 The pinion is the gear attached to motor, and the spool is more or less slang for spur gear; and spool generally emphasizes non-slip differential at the center of driveline. ..hope that helps. 😉💯🙏🏿👍🏿
