You can make edible crystals at home, its jello, sugar, water. That it, you make the jello how you'd normally make it but add in sugar, then once the jello has cooled but not solidified, pour into molds, put in the fridge overnight to set, then once they've set, leave them out to dry in the air. The sugar with crystallize that way
