I have a brass nickel alloy 1950 railroad spike ATSF Cyrus holidays initials on top
1945-1954 I did once yearly round-trip on Super Chief or Chief LA-CHI. I loved the ATSF but they wouldn't hire me so in 1967 I started a 30 year career with SP. That never diminished my affection and admiration for the Santa Fe!

I got curious, what’s the deal with the name Santa Fe ruclips.net/video/4mCZBpX4pxs/видео.html Skip to 8:30 on the video. Why is a ex-US navy submarine now in the owner ship of the argentine navy under the name Santa Fe? Why was it the Santa Fe railroad and not the Aitchison and Topeka? or just Topeka or just Aitchison? Either way this is going in my nostalgia playlist. If you find any other videos i should add please tell me, i really love nostalgia.
