Ngl, it feels like Ivankovic has been slowly improving with the team. The games against Japan and Saudi Arabia were unacceptably bad, but I think he has found a way to make the team click now. I was definitely not expecting to win this game because a few of our starters were unavailable, and scoring a goal without Wu Lei did not seem really likely. But I'm happy with the result. Tbh our best players were always all defenders except Wu Lei but it's not really easy to see considering how bad our midfield is, our defense is always under pressure. This game was good though we shut down all the Bahraini attacks and had a few chances and they are a pretty good team.

Here are some reasons why Iraq has been bad: 1 Lack of CBs in Iraq are so bad that makes Casas scared to commit to attacking style, that's why he always trying to feed Ayman hussien with long ball and playing safe. 2 Players that are playing in Europe are not getting playtime with there club, players like Amir al ammari (CM), Ali al hammed (ST) , Zidan Igbal (CM), Ali hussien (RB) all of this players need to find a new club in winter transfer window. RB position is weak, good player we have is Ali hussien but he has not been playing with his club since last season, this is why Mustafa saddon gets playingtime he is the worst. 3 In attack Iraq is always missing a player, Ibrahim Bayshi is least creative player in attack he Fs up every Iraqi Attack always, and he always gets to play full 90 min don't know what is so special about him.
