Why don't men shave their leg hair, if it surely must get even more sweaty? Of course shaving leg hair is for the male gaze. It's to make women seem younger than they are.. possibly it's racist too since women of certain ethnicity/races have more and darker body hair than the Scandinavian white types. Unless men start shaving their body hair and get the same amount of pressure to do so as women, I will always see shaving leg and armpit hair as a "things women do for men" thing. Btw a lot of men don't even care if women shave or not. I shave my leg hair in the summer but I'm considering growing it out for reactions. In the end though, body hair removal is good for pragmatic purposes. Some people have very coarse and long body hair, personally I think a bit of fluffy hair can be attractive, but if it's a lot I prefer less of it. I have "hairy' genes and am a bit envious of people with lighter , less coarse body hair.
