      We had an enclosed attached sun room right off the kitchen area. It wasn't heated, but it did have A/C. That's where we stored our bikes and other some other items. We had our lawn mower and other outdoor equipment stored in a long-term storage facility in the US before moving to Korea. I'm not sure what other people do with that kind of stuff if they live in apartments or villas.

      From Osan commute will be at least 40 minutes if you drive. Suwon is further away from Humphreys. The subway from Suwon or Osan will bring you to the Pyeongtaek station, but that is still a 12- 15 minute taxi ride to the gate of Humphreys and costs 12500 won as of now.

    Hi!!! Love the vid! ^_^ Quick question - did you guys find it hard to 1) drive around the island and 2) find parking wherever you went? I'm planning a trip to jeju but I'm leaning more towards using public transportation/kakao taxi vs renting a car because I'm not great at parallel parking/feel like it'd be less of a hassle parking wise...ty!!!

    • @AshleyRoberts80
      @AshleyRoberts80 Год назад

      Hi! Driving around the island felt less stressful than driving on the mainland. There were big open parking lots at the major attractions we visited (tea fields, Innisfree House, Seongsan Ilchulbong, the waterfall). We also walked to restaurants and other places near our hotel. Using public transportation/taxi is definitely an option, but renting a car offered us more flexibility, and driving didn't feel really stressful for us. Also, keep in mind that we visited in December. Traffic is most likely heavier during the summer months.

      Hi. Jeju is great to visit any time of the year and really depends on what you like to do. We've only been in early December. The weather was pleasant to us (around 55F), but too cold for swimming. If you want to enjoy the beach and water sports, then probably May - August is best. We've only lived in Germany, Netherlands, and Korea, so that is the extent of my experience with Asia and Europe, but based on that, I think I prefer Europe. Coming from a Western culture to an Eastern culture (Korea) took some time for us to adjust to as well. The worst part about Korea IMO is the air quality.
