How were these panels tested? Was there a test center dropping artificial hails or was there an actual hail storm? Interesting to know the process of these tests.

The testing protocol for the Hail resistance class 4 certification, conducted by TÜV Rheinland, involves simulated hail impact tests in a controlled environment. These tests employ specialized equipment capable of replicating various hailstone sizes and velocities to assess the panels' durability under extreme conditions. Hi @hungrykaigaming7364 thanks for your interest. Unfortunately, the type of panels used on the concept car by Toyota are not commercially available yet.
The PRODUCT NU-JD540WP HALF- CUT îs 12volt? Thank you!
The NU-JD540 module has 41 Volt under STC (standard testing conditions). Please refer to the datasheet for each product on the website: www.sharp.eu/solar-panels
I remember how in the 70s Sharp had Sharp stores with gadgets but the gadgets were not quite ready and the public did not get it. APPLE stole the idea and came back later.
Thanks for your comment. There's certainly a risk when creating innovative products that a market is not yet established and ready to accept a novel product yet. Regarding solar panels (which our team is selling): Fortunately, after decades of growing the industry, improving the technology and communicating the benefits, the world today is very accepting of PV solar panels and most people understand that this is a technology for the present and future. :)
Witam, skoro takie moduły są podzielone na 2 części to czy posiadają diody bypass? Jeśli tak, to ile ich jest?
Dear Natalia S. sorry for the late reply. Each of the three junction boxes has one bypass diode. So there are three bypass diodes.

Witam, z czego wynika różnica w sprawności, jaką podaje producent SHARP między modułami NU-JC370 (20% sprawności) ,a NU-JC360B full black (19,6% sprawności), przecież oba moduły mają takie same wymiary i taką samą ilość ogniw half cell/cut monokrystalicznych? Czy to jest kwestia powłoki ściemniającej na panelu full black?
Dear Michal, thanks for your question. We recommend the black panel (NU-JC360B) for those who care a lot about the aesthetics of the panel and if the focus is more on higher power output then we recommend the NU-JC370. A panel with a black backsheet is always a bit less efficient than an identical one with a white backsheet because the white backsheet reflects more light.
