top stuff fella 👍 shame that sun is a rare occurrence in the uk at the moment
Thanks oldshiny, I can't remember a worse spring/summer in my 50+ years. Fingers crossed the weather sorts itself out soon. Thanks for watching and take care oldshiny.
@@ingomoto yeah me either will keep fingers x for better half of summer
Nice Ride. Thanks
Really clean, and precise, riding! If only we could all be such things. Great video!
Thanks x9, I thought I was all over the road avoiding mud, gravel and potholes on this ride. The UK roads are horrific at the moment. Thanks for watching and the nice comments, take care.
What windscreen is that?
Hi mo, it's a Powerbronze Airflow screen in light tint. Thanks for watching.
I have the same windscreen on my 23’ Tuono Factory.. Really makes the front end look much better
@@jameskennedy3365 Hi James, I think it looks better than the stock item but it also stopped the turbulent air under my helmet. Thanks for watching, take care.
My Tuono 660 has squeaky brakes as well. Though not at every stop. The bike has less than 200 miles so I've been hoping it would go away as the pads seat. What did you do to stop the squeaking?
Hi, my rear brake didn't start squeaking until 6000 miles so wouldn't expect it to be the same issue as yours at only 200 miles. Personally I would get the dealer to check it out at the first service at 600 miles. For mine i just removed the caliper and gave it a good clean, the pads have a plate clipped onto the back so I removed them and cleaned in between them before refitting. I put a tiny bit of ceramic grease on the back of the pads before reffing. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
There's some nice bends on that back road to Gainsborough 😁👍🏻
Hi whitetribe, it's a nice road but I was sliding all over the place, I think it was a bit too cold for my tyres that day. Just praying for some warmer weather, thanks for watching.
Did you not pop in to William woods? its a lovly bit of road Wraby to Horncastle
Hi, I went past Willy Woods but didn't stop that day. The back road to Horncastle is awesome, a nice mixture of tight corners and sweeping bends. Thanks for watching.
@@ingomoto you may see me on that section ,I will be the guy going passed you on the Royal Enfield Himalayan,,
@@lipsee100 I'll keep a look out for you, ride safe lipsee100.
Still got the bike? Thinking about getting one for my first geared bike after doing my full A
Hi Cal, sold the CCM a couple of years ago. Just a word of warning, parts are getting very difficult to get hold of. It was a fun bike, good luck with your bike test and thanks for watching.
Back here. Sorry I missed a couple of your uploads. Still love the sound of the 660. Safe and Happy riding
Thanks fried egg, these uploads are from last autumn. Still waiting for the weather to sort itself out this year. Itching to get the bike out. Take care fried egg.
Got an insurance quote for one of these as me first bike....£2000 thats a big NO from me sadly.
Wow, 2 grand for a 660 twin is ridiculous. Being 50+ and 15+ years no claims does have its benefits. So sorry the insurance has put a stop to you buying a Tuono 660. Get a few years no claims and try again is all I can suggest. Take care Gary.
@@ingomoto I am 50 but no experience as yet. I`m going down the triumph route slightly cheaper insurance for the street triple R and an extremely well finshed beautiful bike.insurance is £1500
@@garysmith70 That's really good for a street triple, I thought it would have been more than the tuono to insure. Who knows how insurance companies work their premiums out. Have fun on the street triple.
Good to see the vids are still coming! Can I ask what rubber you use? I'm guessing you run sports touring tyres but interested which in particular?
Hi Johnny, I use the stock pirelli diablo corsa 2 which the bike came with, awesome grip and decent mileage for a sports tyre. Not brilliant in cold weather as it's difficult to keep the rear tyre up to temperature. Hope that helps, happy new year.
Have you had any issues with the Aprilia, like engine oil leaks Squeaky rear brakes or rear axle? Thanks.
Hi Gary, no issues that you have mentioned, last ride of the year my front brakes started squeaking for some reason but only for a few miles. Hope this helps, thanks for watching.
@ingomoto Thanks for the honest reply all the best for the new year
@@garysmith70 No problem, it's a cracking little bike, I wouldn't throw any old bike around some of the single track lanes I use, my last bike was a Hypermotard 939 and this is just as capable if not better in some areas, happy new year Gary.
@ingomoto I do fancy getting a 660 Tuono.Lets see what next year brings.
whats your mileage at? :)
Hi Ezzy, it's done about 7000 miles. Thanks for watching, take care.
where is the mic?
Hi, I have a Zoom h1n in a small pouch attached to the back of my camera chest harness straps. It cuts some of the wind noise but unfortunately not all of it. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
What screen have you got fitted? Did you notice much of a difference over the standard?
Hi Jason, it's a Powerbronze Airflow screen. I was getting turbulent air under my helmet with the standard screen but this one has eliminated that. Hope this helps, thanks for watching Jason.
@@ingomoto I thought so but just wanted to check. Picked up a new 660 factory in September, I’m not suffering with turbulent air in my helmet but looking for a screen to lessen the windblast. Cheers
@@Jason-hl8uj It's not a lot bigger than standard but just enough for my issue. Hope you find the right screen for your 660 factory. Take care.
What a boring ride.
A bit like your channel but thanks for watching.
I didn't know I had a channel but thanks for reminding me.@@ingomoto
I did a trackday recently and i was talking to a racer. I said i wouldnt mind a go on one of these and he said his sv650 was better than these have no torque?
Hi, I very rarely rev mine past 8500rpm because it has enough torque. Did a quick search, Tuono 660 has 67Nm at 8500rpm and the SV650 has 64Nm at 8100 so not much in it. All I would say is test ride both before you make a decision but don't disregard the Tuono 660 because someone said it has no torque, it's a parallel twin so it has torque. Take care.
Ice vid, just the sound
Thanks Steven, I'm just running the stock exhaust but I think it sounds nice. Thanks for watching.
@@ingomoto thanks I’ve been studying this model , possibly trading my new DE800 for it, which will be hard
@@Darkrider8500 It's a cracking bike, I'm hoping Aprilia will bring a supermoto version out using this engine. Give one a test ride, it won't be as comfortable as your V Strom, the suspension is quite stiff but handling is awesome. Take care Steven.
is the bike jerky for you?
Hi, it can get a little jerky through town if you are in the wrong gear but out on the open road it's awesome. Thanks for watching.
Stunning 👍
Congrats on hitting 100 subscribers and for not referring to the destination in this video as Willy Woods 😂
Thanks Johnny and you're welcome, I always call it Willingham Woods. Wish I'd gone that way yesterday for a cuppa, it was freezing. Take care and thanks again.
Had a ride there yesterday, a good few bikes there, not raining for a change 🤔👍🏻.
The weather has been dreadfull, I went out yesterday and my teeth were chattering by the time I got back, cold but at least it was dry. Take care Whitetribe.
The curves look very joyful. Great to watch your tour. Engine and exhaust sounds got me amazed. I am not a big fan of parallel 4 cylinder bikes.
Thanks, the Yorkshire Wolds are lovely to ride around. The last inline 4 bike I had was in 2007, it's been singles, v-twins and parallel twins since then. Thanks for watching TouranZaem.
Fabulous weather and road to ride motorcycle. I just bought my brandnew 22 Tuono 660 Factory. Can't wait to cruise on it.
Wow, I keep thinking about swapping mine for the factory but not quite yet. Have fun on your new bike, it's a fantastic machine, take care.
Sorry I missed your last video, been busy with work. The weather again looks great. Is this ride from last year? Ride safe
Hi Fried Egg, it's from last October, I haven't got the bike out this year due to the weather here in the UK. Fingers crossed for next week, I'm itching to get the bike out. Take care.
Back here again. Great video and love the weather there, I've to say the bike sounds awesome. Stay safe and keep posting videos.
Thanks Fried Egg, this video is from last autumn, it's very cold and very wet here now. I like the sound from the stock exhaust, not too obnoxious. Thanks for watching again and stay safe.
@@ingomoto Stay safe while riding in these conditions. Once again, lovely bike.
what is this screen?
Hi Thodoris, it's a powerbronze airflow screen in light tint, they also do a dark tint and clear screen. Hope this helps, take care.
The view looks wonderful. Pretty chill video, enjoyed the peace. Count me in as you 98th sub. Would love to hear you talk too. Stay safe
Thanks for your comments Fried Egg, that's the joy of motorbikes, it helps you forget about all the rubbish going on in your head and in the world. If I started doing a commentary I would end up through a hedge, backwards or upside down. Thanks for watching Fried Egg, cracking channel name.
Pleased to see you made it safely through cos sh*t corner at 0.39 seconds. It claimed many a boy racer back in the day!
Hi Johnny, I don't use that road very often but it has a few nice bends. I normally cut through the Upton and Heapham road but they had just chucked loose gravel all over it. Thanks for watching, take care.
Hi, does your tuono makes some king of chassis flex sound, like squeaking sound when u get on it or go over humps?
Hi Ezzy, not that I've noticed but I wear earplugs and listen to music when I'm riding. Sorry for not being more helpful with your question, take care Ezzy.
Your video is great, I would like to know the brand of the windscreen you are using on your motorcycle. Thank you
Hi Carlos, the screen is a Powerbronze Airflow in light tint, they also do a dark tint and a clear model too. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
@@ingomoto thank you friends
Wonderful countryside for a ride out.😊
Thanks Russell, it's a lovely part of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Even better when the sun is shining. Thanks for watching.
Great video ✌️
What make of screen did you mounth?
Hi, the screen is a powerbronze airflow in light tint. They do a dark tint and a clear screen too. Hope this helps, take care.
@@ingomoto thx. Does it make a lot of difference compared to the stock one. No turbulence?
@@definefreedomfdm-travels1008 I was getting turbulent air under my helmet with the standard screen. The powerbronze screen stops the buffeting under my helmet while giving a little bit extra wind protection. Hope this helps.
No quickshifter?
Hi, no quickshifter, the clutch and gearbox are so light and positive I couldn't see the point. Thanks for watching and take care Win.
How much difference does the taller screen make ?
I was getting some buffeting under my helmet with the stock screen but the taller screen stops the buffeting. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
Love your videos mate. I have a Tuono 660 and you'd love the handle bar end mirrors on your bike. Makes it look alot neater 👌👍
Thanks Christopher, the stock mirrors are a bit naff looking but I'm not a big fan of bar end mirrors. I've got a nice pair of aluminium mirrors but they won't reach over the huge switchgear without using ugly adaptors. Take care and thanks for watching.
keep up the good work 😉
Know the last roads well 👍🏻
Your knowledge of the lesser known roads of North Notts, South & East Yorks and Lincolnshire is both surprising and impressive. Most two wheeled visitors to these areas stick primarily to the more well known A and B roads - and end up throwing themselves at the scenery!
Thanks Johnny, I do prefer the twisty lanes and B roads as they are more challenging to go quickly on. I tend to roll off on the straights and just chill out and take in the scenery. Thanks for watching.
@@ingomoto Same ref the straights. Might try and catch up with you next year. I'm in Gainsborough, actually between bikes atm but eyeing an 890 Duke R.
@@johnnydrama7603 Very nice, hope you find what you're looking for. Never rode one but they get good reviews. Think the weather is putting an end to the biking season, don't mind riding in the rain, just don't enjoy it. Might catch up with you next season, take care Johnny
Hi Mate! I also own a Tuono 660 and I wanted to ask you if you could share the model of your windscreen. I was looking for one like yours. Thanks!!
Hi Dani, the screen is a Powerbronze Airflow screen in light tint, you can also get it in clear or dark tint. Thanks for watching.
any reliability issues so far with the bike? people are complaining about squeaky rear brake, check engine light coming on randomly, choppy throttle in first and second gear at lower speeds and some power gap at around 5-6k rpm in higher gears. I am thinking about buying one and was wondering what your experience so far has been. Thanks!
Hi Alex, luckily for me I've had non of the issues you've mentioned above. The only issue for me was a dodgy Regina drive chain that had several loose links but dealer fitted replacement for free. My front brakes squeaked for the first 100 miles until bedded in but since have been fine. I'm loving the baby Tuono, handling, weight, brakes and performance are awesome for a 660. Hope this helps Alex, stay safe.
@@ingomoto yeah it really does! thanks a lot! glad you had a nice experience with it, hope I have a similar one as I am quite sure that i'll buy it, just have to sell my current bike first ! again thanks alot and happy riding!
How is your camera set up? Also is it on just battery or external battery?
Hi etor moto, I use a Stuntman chest harness to hold my camera, a Xiaomi Yi 4k which is powered by an external power bank. For audio I use a Zoom H1n in a pouch on my back, hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
Is that the standard exhaust? Sounds nice.
Yes astrostrotch, it's the standard exhaust. I think it sounds nice and it's not too loud. Thanks for watching.
Man, that bike is incredible! Really can't get enough of that Aprilia parallel twin roar and visual-wise it's just stunning. Handling-wise I wouldn't know cause I haven't riden one yet but I've heard good stuff. Nice vid man, ride safe and keep up the good work!
Thanks Chris, it sounds lovely with the stock exhaust, not too obnoxious. Handling wise it just goes where you want it to, quick and precise with no drama. Only issue I have is on really bumpy roads it can feel a bit harsh and unrefined. For the price it's a fantastic little bike, try and get a test ride, you won't be disappointed. Take care.
A nice blast around my local lanes😁👍🏻
Thanks Whitetribe, nice roads but getting bumpier by the minute, thanks for watching.
Sounds fab
Have you ridden the RS or Tuareg? I’m test riding the three soon to see which one I like the most.
Hi, I haven't ridden the other two bikes yet, but would love to try the Tuareg. To be honest I didn't even have a test ride on the Tuono before I bought it. They all seem to be getting good reviews and I'm loving the baby Tuono. Enjoy your test rides, take care.
Hi, can i ask you what kind of windshield you have installed? Ciao from Italy
Hi Andrea, it's a Powerbronze Airflow screen in light tint. I was getting turbulent air under my helmet and this screen has stopped the issue for me. Hope this helps, take care in sunny Italy.
Nice break-in ride Waiting for my Tuono to arrive.
You won't be disappointed, I'm thoroughly enjoying my little Tuono, thanks for watching.
