The mission of the Armory Art Center is to inspire the creation and experience of art. The Armory’s vision is to become a leading artistic and cultural center. Housed in a 1939 art deco building, the Armory Art Center provides art classes for artists of all ages and abilities, exhibitions, art salons, lectures, and special events. Nearly 100 courses, held in 12 state-of-the-art studios, are offered in ceramics, digital arts, drawing, jewelry, painting, printmaking, fibers, sculpture, welding, and wood turning are offered each year.

Taught by artist and author of Fishing for Elephant, insights and exercises to inspire authentic creativity, this class explains the components of creativity, the visual language of paint, non-traditional expression, composition, the nature of good design and the necessity of concept. Paul Fischer is a gem! I'd love to hear him talk about art any day. Field trips to various museums with Paul Fischer could be the next Netflix series.

What a phenomenal exhibit. I hadn't realized the scale of these paintings. These larger than life portraits really brought the message home. I'm only sorry I wasn't able to see it in person. Thanks for sharing. Perhaps you could attach a pdf of all the title cards. The slide was too fast to allow for the reading of them.
