Many times live performances don't sound nearly as good as the original studio recording...well, maybe except for Peter Frampton. In addition, early Television appearances were broadcast in Mono...So, I've taken old video of a few live and television performances re-edited and synced them as close as I can with the original Stereo or remastered "Stereo Studio Sound". It started out as a project for my High School Reunion and I've continued to add to the page when I can. Enjoy! Definitely NOT live
While the video is indeed from a "Live" performance...it is clear you didn't take the time to read the description...it clearly states: (My "Stereo Studio Sound" Re-Edit) therefore No Harm, No Foul. In addition, most early Television appearances were lip synced and broadcast in Mono...so, I've taken old video of a few live and television performances re-edited and synced them as close as I can with the original Stereo or remastered "Stereo Studio Sound".
Lovethis song!!
I still have the 45 single of Sweetheart that I bought at age 12 at Woolworths, February 1981 💘💝💗🤍.
Sure had some big hits back then!!🎉
One of the Greatest, I wasn't aware of his passing 😢, until recently . May he R I P.
I love this song so much
Thank You for this channel!!!🤟
My pleasure!
What in the world is mike wearing? 🥴🤔
You can tell Clive was so very in love with her. His admission decades later that he adored her was no surprise. We all did. But the chemistry here is spectacular
Was this from The Dean Martin Show?
ok
One of the greatest songs....
How can you not love Linda Rondstadt? Look at her and listen to that angelic voice that is as beautiful as she is. She is drop dead gorgeous like her music.
I was wondering what happened to the other 2 members thanks for the up date true fans!
I saw and heard this 1st on AB in April 1967, when it was being sampled and rated (on the Rate A Record portion of the show), and have loved it then and ever since!
They all had pretty shapes and REAL BUTTS!! ofen imitated but just can't be duplicated..
Just as true now as it was 49+ years ago.
Nunca vai existir música melhor q essa
So lucky to watch your concert way back late '80 in Folk Arts Theater, Phils!
🎶On this date (January 27) in 1973, ‘Superstition’ by Stevie Wonder reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Is anyone here in 2025?😊
There is something weird about this video. The orchestra is invisible and there's no sound coming from the organ except near the end. Just sayin'.
If you read read the description it clearly states: Procol Harum - Conquistador 1972 - "Stereo Re-Edit" using the audio from their performance with the Edmonton (Alberta, Canada) Symphony Orchestra, Nov., 1971. Therefore, No Harm, No Foul. In addition, most early Television appearances were lip synced and broadcast in Mono...so, the concept of my channel is that I've taken old video of a few live and television performances re-edited and synced them as close as I can with the original Stereo or remastered "Stereo Studio Sound"...Enjoy!
CHRIS REA: UNO DE LOS MEJORES AUTORES de Música de la epoca DORADA MUSICAL de lod año 60/70. Ya abían marcado el RUMBO "THE BEATLES". Sin embargo este TEMA ES EXCELENTE..FAVORITO MIO..!
I wonder what happen to the opening of the show when dc was there in Times Square. 📼
Be a lady .. but don't got to be .. we're done
He was very handsome back in the day. I like his groovy dancing moves too. He is too hip for this zombie audience. ☺️
😆
💯 percent agree. That man was very handsome!! 😍😍
*Gerry how I love your dimples* ❤
Thanks for the memory, it never sounded this good!
Does anybody know what show they were performing 1981 on New Year's Eve 😢in this clip?
On Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve December 31, 1981. ...it states it in the description.
Bellísima cancion
Real beach boys. Brian loved writing for Carl. Dennis jamming. Loyal Al Jardine. And back stabbing tambourine holder love!!! The Wilson's and Al are all I need.☮️🎹🎸🏖
Mike Love’s voice defined a genre, sorry. They all had personal problems. Is it backstabbing to seek revenue from lyrics you wrote? The hate Mike receives far outweighs the actual offenses.
@NickWeissMusic He claimed writing credits for songs on pet sounds. He and the group were on the road at that time. Brian didn't want to perform live. He stayed in the recording studio and wrote their greates lp. Paul McCartneys favorite song. Inspired the Beatles to write a new album. Even people who were there said that love added some lyrics to a minimum amount of songs. He can't play. It is his young voice we hear on 409, a few car songs. But Brian and Carl's voices made the beach boys. Since the 50th anniversary, he barely does anything but stands. Kokomo was written by Papa John of the Mama's and Papa's. He STOLE the Beach Boys' name from the creator. The man who made his life wealthy and famous. No Brian Wilson no Beach Boys! Everyone knows it. Brian produced the 50th anniversary special! Love did lead on some songs. Hits. I'll give you that. But have you seen him.past few years. Selling tickets calling them Beach Boys. Brian was touring with Al. Brian and Al were willing to continue after the 50th. But love cut them! Imagine Brian Wilson cut from the Beach Boys and cant use the name. He's a music genius. Ghe entire music world knows it. Hes in the songwriters' Hall of Fame. Not love! Brian had mental health problems. They all used drugs, including love. Can you name a song Mike wrote? When Brian,Carl and Dennis weren't there?Any hit song he composed? Pet sounds was done when the band was done touring. You can watch old video. Where he brought it all together to finish. The band touring as The Beach Boys are phony.🎶🎹🏖
Love this song ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it!

Brenton Wood, who has died (January 3rd, 2025) at his Moreno Valley, California home at age 83. Born Alfred Jesse Smith in Shreveport, Louisiana, he later adopted the name “Brenton Wood,” inspired by the affluent Los Angeles neighborhood of Brentwood. Wood’s career took off in 1967 with the release of Oogum Boogum, his debut album that featured the infectiously playful title track, which hit the R&B Top 20. However, it was his next single, “Gimme Little Sign” (with the memorable refrain “Just Give Me Some Kind of Sign, Love”), that catapulted him to stardom. The song became an international Top 10 hit, earning critical acclaim and securing his place in the soul music pantheon. Its irresistible blend of upbeat energy and emotional vulnerability resonated deeply with audiences.
