Neat game. The movement looks like it feels pretty good. Seems something borne of a game jam. And now, for an unsolicited recommendation: I'm not sure of your setup, but feel compelled to recommend having that thing were you can have the music/sfx of a game playing, but when you talk it gates the game's volume so they don't muck each other up. There's some term for it I can't recall. I know OBS has the ability to do it if you're using that, though I have yet to test that in a live streaming capacity. Gyre on Twitch has a very smooth talking gate setup, again for lack of a better (or recognized) term. As you're a a musician, it'd allow you to comment on game music and SFX as well with your educated ear or sing some silly lyrics with it. I R SUB and looking forward to more content.

Very nicely played. I tried to play it again just the other day but the fact that you can't save within levels and have to start a level all over again if you die was what made me give up. I guess I need the forgiveness which 4 and 5 offer.

I don’t have my switch at the moment (my little cousin got into gaming so I gave it to her and she’s been using it practically daily alongside steam, GameCube, Xbox, PS, etc. gonna get her a Dreamcast soon) So I was wondering something that I didn’t try when I mained Terry. Do his shortcut cancels still work? For example, does he have first hit of rising tackle cancel into power geyser? This is practically impossible if you raw input it, but by using advanced buffering shortcuts (also sometimes called input partitioning) you can instead do [2]147+P for rising tackle, and then 16 (or 1236)+P for geyser. Basically you’re hiding the 14 input betwixt the [2]6 rising tackle (which can also be done as [2]7 in this command) so you only have to finish the 16 for geyser. Thanks in advance! Awesome video as well, just liked and subbed.
