I believe it is Freddie Washington on this recording and he may have been using his Ken Smith so the tone will be similar anyway 😁🙏🏼🎵

Hi there, and thanks for checking out the video! Ok, so everything can be done on a 4 string bass without question. A 5 string bass normally has an added low B string to extend into the lower range - B, E, A, D, G (although some players string a 5 string with a higher C string for more melodic/solo area options - E, A, D, G, C). A 6 string has the low B of the 5 string plus a high C string - B, E, A, D, G, C. Basses are traditionally tuned in 4th intervals but some players experiment with all sorts of different tunings to create some really interesting melodic sounds. 😁🎵
