      I would say that’s not unheard of. It really depends on weather in your area and how much you run it! I’ve replaced quite a few in the last 3 years my son has been obsessed with blow-ups but he’s also rough with them 🤣

      I think they run about $30. So depending on how much they were it’s sometimes better just to buy a new one entirely. I just have a kid who needs it to be the “same one!”

      The person I bought this from had replaced the handles with these and used hot glue to try and keep them from slipping out so that’s why I made this video. Figured if one person didn’t know how to fix it then others might not either.

    Imo it kinda looks crappy with the handles to the side and the holes showing how about buying brass / bronze washes to put on the outside to cover the holes so it doesn't look bad but washers on the back yah it's what there intended for or you can just cut the screws down to the right size

    • @AlexOldenburg
      @AlexOldenburg Год назад

      Cutting the screws to size doesn’t change the screw head size being too small for the hole which is the problem I’m addressing. I’m not using the washer to help with the size of screw. It’s to keep it from slipping through the larger hole..

    • @silberwolfy
      @silberwolfy Год назад

      Yes that's what washers are for apparently my phone cut off the rest of what I said anyways if there too long you can cut them down to size instead of having to stack washers on the back. But if you want an opinion you should have bought brass / bronze washes for the front too it would make it look cleaner

    • @AlexOldenburg
      @AlexOldenburg Год назад

      @@silberwolfyyes I’ve cut my fair share of screws. The indent you see is from the precious handles. This is before the piece was refinished. If I ever come across that issue I’ll consider putting washers on the outside as well.

    • @silberwolfy
      @silberwolfy Год назад

      Ahh it looked like holes in the video and the handles where not covering them lol well you could also use the washers to match the handles to cover the indents from the old handles also if you don't want to refinish it could be an idea for a video 😂
